DOG AT LARGE ALTOONA PA

Finally got the Coupon Pa dog on camera.
Now to encourage dog to go in the trap before the cat!
We received a message asking for advice on a indoor only cat that got outside in Altoona Pa. The owner tried to trap him for 5 days but he wasn't interested in the trap.
We offered to take a larger trap over and try that.
The first night he was curious but so was 2 other cats and a skunk and possum.
Yesterday I went over and made a dry food fruit cocktail meal for the unwanted critters.
In the trap I staggered small plates with just a bite of food on throughout the trap with the main meal at the end. It worked! He went in just as it started snowing.
Now he is safe and warm!
Buster missing 4 days in Altoona Pa was safely captured!
He waisted no time finding a safe neighborhood to hang out in and having great people to keep an eye on him until he was captured today!

Maggie missing Pinecroft Pa over night is home safe!
Oscar and I were out setting up feed stations for her when I saw her lying in the grass at the Faith Bible church alone E. Pleasant Valley blvd.
I turned the truck around and called the owners gave them the location. Oscar and I sat in the truck and watched.
Angie and Trisha did a great job by staying calm and using a playful tone when talking to Maggie. It took Maggie a few minutes for her brain to click and recognize her parents! What a happy ending!

These dogs are still missing. Starting with Whiskey missing Altoona Pa since the beginning of the year.
Miley went missing Pinecroft Pa in April.
Hope has been missing since June in Sinking valley area.
Beagle ran off from home in Duncansville Pa.
Mori hasn't been since August in the Westfall area of Altoona Pa.
Thor ran off from home in August in the Pinecroft area.
The stray Berneese mountain dog has been on the run for at least 5 months.
Dog has been seen in Carson Valley to Bald Eagle Pa.
All of these dogs have disappeared! I can't sleep at night or concentrate wondering where they are and why no on has seen them!! Please if you have any information on any one of them contact 814 935 4972 immediately!! All information will be kept confidential

Red dog was safely captured today in Bellwood Pa. Not sure how long dog has been running or where dog came from. Thanks to Nate and Jess for the sighting and having us trap the dog on thier property! Really made the difference. Thanks to everyone who called with sightings! Big thanks to all your prayers and positive thoughts.

The stray Chihuahua running Altoona PA has been captured!
Dog had been seen around 7th Ave 24th st for at least 5 days. I wanna thank Tom for letting me put the trap on his property yesterday. I named the dog Freedom. I conditioned Freedom to the trap over night then I went out 6am this morning and set it to capture. At 8:45 am I watched Freedom mowsy around the alley for 20 minutes while I sat in the truck begging her under my breath just go in the trap already! Lol
Freedom is at Mending Hearts rescue. Thank you again Luanne!!

This stray dog has been running Pleasantville Alum Bank area of Bedford county Pa for at least 4 weeks.
Dog started coming to cat food at Trudi and Mike's house Trudi puts out to feed stray cats.
Trudi contacted Bedford County Humane Society for help because dog needs medical attention.
Bedford County state dog warden was on vacation so Bchs reached out to us for help trapping the dog.
We didn't hesitate.
Trap was set up yesterday evening and at 1am this morning she was safe!
Thanks Trudi and Bedford county humane society for caring about this dog to see that gets the help she needs.

I named her Cortland.
This short film doesn't really need explanation. You can feel every emotion in their faces. Harper's expression when she looks over and realizes that her family finally came to get her melts your heart.
See, she stayed at the trap all night . She would walk around smelling her blanket and Roger's shirt and socks.
This morning I went up to refresh the food and Harper was lying next to the trap. I backed out and called Stephanie.
I had her bring up their other dog. I gave her bacon and grilled chicken to lure Harper to her. She sat on the ground and waited.
Only 20 minutes went by before Harper looked out through the tall grass and saw her mom and fur sister!
Rodger and Stephanie were amazing. The listened and followed advice even though it was hard to sit and wait.
You can see it was worth it in the end! BTW Harper was licking Hormel chili off the weeds lol.
