ROCKING HORSE STABLES: Rocking Horse Stables is a beautiful equestrian facility specializing in USEA recognized horse trials located on 150 acres just outside the Ocala National Forest. Hosting numerous recognized horse trials/schooling shows throughout the year and only located a one-hour drive from both Ocala and Orlando. ls during the fall and winter months. Four shows are held during the busy winter circuit drawing competitors from all over North America and Canada. Our fall show tends to have a quiet atmosphere giving the locals a great chance to get a jump start on the upcoming winter season. All recognized horse trials run Beginner Novice through Intermediate with the exception of our Winter II Horse Trials which also runs Advanced. With the addition of various sponsors and a vendor village that continues to grow, Rocking Horse Stables is a must stop for both the competitor and spectator alike. SCHOOLING SHOWS: Rocking Horse Stables also offers five schooling shows throughout the year that serve as a great training opportunity for both horse and rider in a casual atmosphere. We run 3-phase divisions of Tadpole – Prelim/Training while also offering rounds of stadium and dressage tests. Our schooling shows have something for all eventing, dressage and stadium riders! BOARDING: Rocking Horse Stables offers self-care winter boarding from January through April. We have 104 permanent stalls located throughout two lower barns and 36 paddocks available for use. Boarders will have full use of the facility with no grounds fees for the recognized events. For trainers and clients looking to stay on property, we have 29 RV hookups, with 3 different amperages to choose from. Bathrooms, showers and wifi are also available. SCHOOLING: We offer schooling from Tadpole through Training level with a big variety of permanents. Our cross-country course is open most of the year but visit our website calendar for closed dates. $50 per horse with a current coggins. A certified helmet and XC vest is required. Course is closed for event preparation and special occasions, so just call ahead before you school. Stadium schooling is $25 and dressage/grounds fee is $15. All 3 phases- $65.
