Marlee is here to tell you that spring is right around the corner and tick season is approaching! It is very important to get your pet tested for lyme disease and get on preventatives. If your dog is scheduled for spay or neuter, we highly recommend getting a lyme test done as it can be life saving!

Our last patient of 2024 is getting sleepy.
Our 2,579th patient to be exact!

We helped clients and their pets from all over Pennsylvania and have had the pleasure to work with other awesome rescues and welfare groups. We were so fortunate to have awesome volunteers to assist with all of our needs. Thank you to all for a great start to our clinic- Dr. Whitfield, Shelby- Vet Assistant, Ericka- Certified Veterinary Nurse, & Morgan- Vet Tech.

Pumpkin was able to go home to his owners today for Christmas❤️

Huge thank you to CPHS Wellness Center for doing two lifesaving surgeries on Pumpkin and to Wendy Martin at Tails a Waggin for putting together a christmas gift for him to go home with🎄🎄

It’s raining outside (finally) AND it’s raining cats at the Wellness Center. We set a new record with 44 cats spayed and neutered in one day! Our trio was certainly exhausted, but we’re ready for more!

December is filling up fast and we will soon be scheduling into 2025 🙀.

TNR will be limited due to the colder weather but follow our fb and check back on the website when applications are open for ferals in the spring.

We are proud to announce that Ericka, our veterinary technician, has passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam to officially become certified and licensed. This is not only a great achievement for her but also for the Wellness Center at CPHS and all the animals we care for! We are so glad she has chosen to share her skills and knowledge with us.

Veterinary Technicians have 2-4years of schooling, hands on training, and externships. Following this, there is a 3 hour test covering all the aspects of their education. After passing, technicians must complete multiple courses yearly to maintain their licensing.

If you’d like to share your home for a couple weeks with some kittens, we may know a few! It’s easy to get set up and you have full support for their needs. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can help!

Lucy's owners brought her in for spay surgery today. She did great! Once she was out of recovery, she decided to hang out with all of us. She loved all the pets & cuddles! ❤️ Such a sweet girl!
