I totally forgot (well I was kind of busy yesterday) to wish this fellow a happy 18th birthday. Firecracker was born July 3rd and because he is a Florida Cracker horse, I decided to name him Firecracker. Another hay question.
For Florida horses I was told that Pangola and rye are a no-no. Coastal, T&A, just Timothy, just Alfalfa, Bermuda, Orchard are safe.
This was quite awhile ago so thought I would ck on you other horse owners and see what you've been told. Thanks

Taking a poll .... How satisfied are you with your horses hay? What are you getting and where are you getting it at? And if you don't mind my asking, how much it is? I know price varies due to the retailer being charged different prices from their supplier. Thanks, appreciate your feedback.

Happy birthday to our old friend Lakota...one of the most determined horses I've ever met. She went through cancer treatments, had to have her eye removed and later trailered to Oklahoma. She now is the queen of her mom's horse boarding business, Sooner Stables . And If that wasn't enough she's winning ribbons at her first time experience of competing in the local horse shows. So proud of her and her mom, Sammi Jenen . Happy birthday Lakota girl 🥰
