Bradt's Menagerie The largest petting farm (and round bale hay maze in the fall) in Oklahoma! In July 2014, we added animas rides (on the camel, steer or draft horse).

What started out as a box of 24 chicks to give our kiddos some chores around the farm grew into an ever expanding collection of animals that we now call Bradt’s Menagerie. The animals have brought us so much happiness that we want to share it with the public in the form of a petting farm. Our farm now consists of chickens including (although not all are shown at The Menagerie), in addition to chic

kens, ducks, peacocks, goats, miniature donkeys, llamas, rabbits, highland cattle, a yak, an Indu-Brazilian steer, dwarf angus cattle, mini horses, draft horses, alpacas, a zedonk, pigs, and camels. When you visit, you never know what new addition we'll have! Each one has a story as to how they came to our farm, so be sure to ask when you are on your visit! In October 2015, our first hay maze was built from 890 large round bales. Our attempt is to make it bigger and better every year! The hay maze is available during October and November during petting zoo hours for an additional fee, as well as certain nighttime hours for a flashlight maze. Admission is $10 per person with each person receiving a cup of feed. (Under 2 years of age is free.) Animal rides are $10 per rider per ride. Send us a text to (580) 748-2930 or message us on Facebook at least 12 hours in advance if you would like to come during the selected hours.
If we receive no notifications prior to the availability, we will be closed.
Cost per guest is $10.
This includes admission to the petting zoo with a large cup of feed and access to our large farm-themed playground and pavilion. You are welcome to bring in your own picnic.

(Please do not bring your own animals. We have plenty here for you to enjoy.)

Just a reminder, we are operating this way during the summer due to the lack of visitors during the hot summer months. We will only be open by appointment on selected days and times. Those days will be posted each week throughout the summer.

Yesterday was a day to divide and conquer as Braylon, Jerad, and Breaker took the Port-a-Pettie and BOSS Music to the Elm Grove Fourth of July Celebration while JoDe and Chris stayed to man the FIREW0RK stand.

Bradt’s Menagerie will be closed for the next two weeks as we run the TNT Fireworks stand in the Alva Walmart parking lot. If you want to support the Menagerie and the animals, come by and purchase from our stand!

Running the TNT stand helps us feed the animals in the hot summer months when our foot traffic at the petting farm slows down.

Our Story

What started out as a box of 24 chicks to give our kiddos some chores around the farm grew into an ever expanding collection of animals that we now call The Menagerie - Bradt's Mammals and More LLC. The animals have brought us so much happiness that we want to share it with the public in the form of a petting farm. Our farm now consists of over 300 chickens including 20 different breeds (although not all are shown at The Menagerie), in addition to multiple breeds of turkeys, ducks, peacocks, geese, goats, miniature donkeys, llamas, rabbits, highland cattle, a miniature zebu steer, a water buffalo, a yak, an Indu-Brazilian steer, dwarf angus cattle, a pony, a mini horse, alpacas, a zebra, micro-pigs, emus, and camels. In July 2014, a second camel and a longhorn steer were added to offer rides. When you visit, you never know what new addition we'll have! Each one has a story as to how they came to our farm, so be sure to ask when you are on your visit! In October 2015, our first hay maze was built from 890 large round bales. The hay maze is available during petting zoo hours for an additional fee, as well as certain nighttime hours for a flashlight maze. Currently, we are open Saturdays 10am to 5pm. Admission is $6 per person with each person receiving a small cup of feed. (Under 2 years of age is free.) Large cups of feed are available for $2. Rides on the camel or steer are $10 per ride.
