It’s that time of year again. K9 Kavika is hard at work & loving life. We have a lot of work ahead of us next week.

K9 Zeke & K9 Bowie will start their imprinting on odor (can’t wait to show their amazing progress!!)

K9 Xander, K9 Jax & K9 Esca will all prepare for recertification in Narcotics, while K9 Zara & K9 Kavika will prepare for recertification in Explosives.

We will most likely do a little bite work with K9 Jax, Jima and POSSIBLY K9 Xander (if I can find the right decoy, as I will not catch my own demon! lol)

So we did a thing yesterday……

Meet Zeke!!! He came to us from Category 5 K9 and will be settling in for a few days before we start introductions to our crew and his training. He is a super sweet dog and hasn’t figured out that he cannot be camera shy! (I’m sure K9 Kavika will tell him how it works! lol)

Better pictures and he is back story coming soon!!! We will also be posting pictures of our full crew soon. We have gotten some amazing dogs from Category 5 K9 and we are always blessed when they think of us and give us the amazing opportunity to work with these dogs.

Going through old pictures and we came across these. These are the photos that Category 5 K9 sent us that made us fall in love with this crazy boy. We thank them everyday for this hard working beast of a dog. Alway on alert amd he works as hard as he plays and loves.

This crazy girl right here!!!! Canine (Princess) Zara is such a hoot!!!! She is also a pain in the butt some days, as she can never be too far from my side.

Today, I had to do some work in the well house and she was let out to take a potty break. She could not see me, but I could see her through the cracks in the wall. I saw the nose go straight up and knew it was over. She cleared the 6 foot fence with ease and ran circles around the well house trying to find her way in. She quickly joined me in priming the well and escorted me back in the house. 💙

Today K9 Xander conducted a search for a family that is concerned about one of their family members. One of the greatest things we get to do is help families ensure a clean fresh start for their family member when they return home from rehab. We are truly honored to be a part of the healing process!

Meet Lucian! He will be joining out program very soon. He is coming to us through an amazing rescue that works so hard getting these sweet souls off the streets.

Yesterday K9 Xander, K9 Kavika, and K9 Jax got to meet some amazing people who were visiting from the UK. We love showing off our boys skills with odor detection (narcotics and explosives) and of course some bite work. We want to give a big thank you to the Ennion Family for allowing us the opportunity to come out and share some of our dogs with them! K9 Kavika LOVES making new friends and hope to see them again!

So proud of K9 Xander. He loves going to work & with a partner like him, it really isn’t work for me. He was exposed to so many environmental firsts today and he didn’t miss a beat. He is definitely one of our rockstars!
