We will reopen for a short time from December 27 until Friday 29th at noon.
We will open Tuesday January 2 at 7:30am for our normal business hours.

Thanksgiving is this week and we would like to remind everyone about hour hours.
Monday and Tuesday we will be opened from 7:30-5:30 and Wednesday we will be opened from 7:30-12 and closed for the remainder of the week to spend time with our families. We will reopen Monday 27th at 7:30.

We had so much fun today hanging out with Alvin Animal Adoption Center - Alvin, TX at Woofstock! We got to see some of our favorite 4 (and 3) legged friends and meet so many new friends.

💥 🔥 ☀️ OUR SHELTER PETS NEED RESCUE HELP ASAP!!!! ☀️🔥💥

Our AC is out and there is no estimated repair date…so it is HOT HOT HOT in the shelter and our shelter pets need OUT!! We NEED help from RESCUE GROUPS. We are experiencing extreme temperatures and it’s not fair or safe for these babies.

💥 Due to the specialized AC unit, replacement parts are on order but are backordered. The city maintenance department has been GREAT in getting us fans and portable units but we have a large facility and it’s just not enough to cool the adoption and holding rooms down 💥

UPDATE:
Y'all are awesome to offer fostering! Unfortunately we do not have the man power to facilitate a foster program BUT you can reach out to rescue groups and see if they will pull a dog or cat into their program if you agree to foster for them.
Thank you all for the suggestions regarding the AC - we are continuing to help our pets as best we can with portable units, fans, etc. We have a unique system that requires special parts (we have an AC company already) that are on backorder.
The best way to help is spread the word to help get some animals adopted or into a reputable rescue organization. THANK YOU!!

Please be aware that summer heat is already here, and we need to take precautions for our pets safty. If you absolutely have to keep your pets outside, make sure they have a nice shaded area to stay in and have water accessible to them at all times. Be aware of how hot concrete and asphalt is. Walks should be in the morning and evening and bring water. Be safe everyone!

If you have been into the clinic in the past few weeks I'm sure you have noticed the smell of paint. We have been working hard on preparing one of our exam rooms for a new exam table We now have the room opened and new table set up! Our first patient was Neville who happily showed us all how to use it and Gorda supervised.

Tomorrow at 2:30 we will be updating our system software and we will be unable to schedule appointments or sell medications. It should only take 1 hour but could take longer.

If you have been to our clinic in the past 6 months you might have noticed "a very large turtle" in our back yard. Gibbs Jr. has been staying here for a bit and on colder days he stays inside in a warm kennel and on occasion he's even wandering the clinic where you might have seen him in the office with the staff.

We recently discovered he is a SHE! So we would like help naming her. We have some great name suggestions like Mertle the Turtle and Petunia. What do you all think?
