We’ve been working on a new pig shelter for the new pig pasture. Finally got the roof and (most) of the sides up yesterday and just in time! This morning we woke up to 8 new baby piggies! Leah had them in the old temporary shelter, but that’s fine bc the other pigs all moved to the new shelter and left her alone there.

We decided to open up some slots for this Friday, since people will be out of school. This will likely be the only chance to see the new babies while they're still small, as we have events scheduled for the next several weekends and won't be offering farm tours those days.

Busy weekend of Easter events. The littles had their first outting for one of our long time, annual events that we knew would be a good first experience for them. They were a hit, had a blast themselves, and I’m sure will be sleeping it off for the rest of the day now!

(Btw, anyone looking for goats, most of these guys are still available!)

And our kidding season ended late last night with teeny tiny triplets from Cessa and then a big, single doeling from Noelle.

Sadly we lost one of Cessa’s boys, but she still has one flashy buckling and the smallest doeling we’ve ever had born here. And Noelle’s doeling is a big, strong girl who’s already joined up with our St Patrick’s Day babies for play and nap time.

Two days old and already learning to play king of the hill. This is by far my favorite baby goat toy, bc they can start playing on it immediately, before they can really jump around. Plus it doubles as a hidey hole for sleeping for the newborns.

We ended yesterday with two sets of St Paddy’s day babies!

Buck/doe twins from Raia and then twin does from Callie. So introducing Seamus, Maeve, Molly and Eireann.

Just two more does to go and let’s hope the doe streak continues!

Not the best pic but we got St Paddy’s day babies from miss Raia today. Boy and a girl. We already had a Patrick last year, so I think we’re going with Seamus and Maeve for these two.

We’ve got a couple new additions to the farm this weekend.

Meet Cherub and Meleys, our new earless wonders. lol. And no, they were not removed! LaMancha’s and LM crosses are born earless (or with tiny elf ears like Cherub).

Available Spring Break dates now available!

$10/person (cash, check, zelle, venmo, cashapp). Tours typically last roughly an hour, but when we have babies or large groups signed up they can go over.

Come cuddle the baby goats, pet our giant bunnies, feed and hold our silkie and orpington chickens, visit with the horses and donkey, give the pigs a belly rub and more!

Seven babies from three mamas in the past week. Four girls, three boys. Everyone is doing well and will be ready for visitors over the coming weeks.

First babies of the year have arrived from Oddball and Nicholas. One black little doeling and one grey/white buckling. It was a cold morning but they’re doing great.

Two more to go any day now.

Hope everyone’s staying warm. Everyone here is doing fine so far. Wind breaks and lots of hay. The horses, rabbits and chickens don’t seem to think there’s anything wrong with the weather. The goats are refusing to leave the barn.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Years.

The countdown has just begun here for new babies! Elora (pictured) and Eloise just received their nest boxes for baby bunnies. And then Oddity, Eos and Brie are due later this month.

We still have lots of dates available for party bookings and weekend visits will be updated on a weekly basis, dependent on availability and weather.

Been a long hot summer so we’re all looking forward to fall this year! Luna and Chloe, two of our new young gilts, have been taking advantage of any water trough and mud hole they can find to stay cool.

We do have quite a few dates still available for parties in October/November (group visits aren’t scheduled until the week before any available weekend).

3/21 - FOUND FOUND FOUND. Thank you so much to everyone that shared.

Hey! For anyone in the area, my husky mix went missing this evening during feeding rounds! Please let me know if anyones seen him or picked him up! It’s not like to him run off, so thinking somebody must have him. He’s extremely friendly so would have gone to someone if they called him.

Male husky mix. One blue eye. Wearing a teal collar and a flea collar. Answers to the name Killian.

Last seen on our property on County Rd 146 in Alvin, just past the 190 intersection!

Well, after a busy day of visits, we ended the day with this unexpected surprise! I wasn’t expecting kids for another week from Raia, but she snuck these two doelings out with no signs during a brief moment I’d gone inside.

In any case, it was a happy surprise! Raia, a first time mom, had both babies on their feet and with full bellies by the time I found them, even if they were still a bit wet.

To continue with our Irish St Patty’s day theme from this month, we’re calling them Caoimhe (“keeva”) and Saoirse (sur - sha).

Hey all! Just putting out a quick ISO. If you or anyone you know has a step2 roller coaster or extreme coaster they’re not using, let us know! We don’t need the car, just the “slide” part!

This is by far my favorite baby goat toy. The newborns start using them within a day or two, when they’re still too little to climb on any of the bigger toys and without the steps, they make great little houses for the newborns to sleep under.

Ours gets *a lot* of use throughout the year and I’m sure the babies would appreciate having a few spares to go around.

A little late sharing these new arrivals. Nimh delivered a handsome, moonspotted boy on Saturday that my niece has named “Baby Moon”. Then Monday, Eos had buck/doe twins “Solstice” and “Eclipse”.

Merry Christmas! Hope everyone had a great Christmas. We sure did here with five new babies born!

Brie had triplet boys last night for Christmas Eve and then Oddity delivered buck/doe twins this morning for Christmas.

So introducing our new little little ones. The triplets: Dasher, Comet and Blitzen! And Noelle and Yule, our Christmas babies.

They’re not quite ready for visitors yet but they will be soon!
