Our doors will remain open 24 hours on Friday, July 4th, through 7:30 AM on Monday, July 7th.

Important message from the Amarillo Police Department regarding puppy scams.

🐾 **Beware of Puppy Scams!** 🐾

We've noticed an increase in scams involving puppy sales. One common scam involves posts claiming to offer full-blooded breeds for a rehoming fee due to financial reasons. These posts often don't specify the fee and may use photoshopped images.

Please be cautious and follow these tips:
- **Fully check out the seller and their claims.**
- **Never pay before seeing the puppy in person.**

Remember, many wonderful pets at shelters and foster programs need loving homes. If you're set on a specific breed, look for reputable breeders. Do your homework and avoid becoming a scam victim.
