LOST DOG! If yours please give us a call 806-622-0555. This little dog was found on the road in the Dimmitt area, along with another pup. Now safe at Amarillo SPCA, 11901 S. Coulter, Amarillo. Our shelter is open Tues-Sat from 12 to 5 p.m. To reclaim you will need proof of ownership: Vet records, pictures, etc.

Meet Stormie! She was born 1/9/2025, so still a puppy. Stormie is a Chihuahua mix. She is good with other small dogs. This is a quiet little girl. Stormie likes children , men and women. This cute, sweet puppy likes to cuddle. We hope you will come meet her; perhaps adopt and enjoy. She can be adopted, but can't go home just yet. Will still need her Vet visit and completion of shots. Puka is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, who is about 4 years of age. Born July 2021. Surrendered due to owner's illness. Puka is an indoor pet, who is good with other dogs. He likes children, (including babies and toddlers), men and women. He does have a typical small dog attitude and barks at strangers. Puka likes to be picked up, and likes to play with squeaky balls and toys. He even likes being dressed up. He is a very active and playful little guy. He is housebroken. Amarillo SPCA, 11901 S. UPDATE: MORTY ADOPTED TODAY.
Morty is a 5 year old, long haired male kitty. He has a beautiful soft, thick coat in dark brown with black highlights- on his face, back of his ears, legs and tail. His eyes are a gorgeous blue. Morty is a sweet playful boy who likes petting and loves to cuddle. He has lived with another cat, but probably still needs a gradual introduction to a new cat as we suggest with all our adoptions. Dawn is a longer haired, black, female kitty who is on the young side- perhaps 2-3 years. She has a thick, fluffy coat of all black fur, a black nose and big, beautiful, golden eyes. Dawn will need regular brushing to keep her coat tangle free. She is a very sweet girl who likes to be held and petted. She also has a bit of a sassy side too. Cookie is a male tabby kitty about 9 months old. His silky short coat has white on his chest, legs and face, with pretty markings around his mouth & eyes, including a ‘mustache’ under his nose. The rest of his coat is more brown with black markings/stripes. Cookie is a sweet boy that likes to be petted and sometimes sits on your shoulders. He is active, playful and vocal; enjoying strings, balls and hiding in boxes. He also enjoys drinking out of a dripping faucet. He has lived with other cats and a dog. Cookie’s pregnant mom was rescued from the streets and cared for while she gave birth. Sibs, Cookie & Sweetie came to the shelter to find their own forever homes. (dob 6-18-24). Sweetie is a male kitty about 9 months of age. He is mostly white on his underside, legs and neck with brown and black markings throughout the rest. His pretty golden eyes are highlighted with white as well. Sweetie is a sweet mellow kitty. He is playful and vocal; enjoying strings, balls and hiding in boxes. He also enjoys drinking out of a dripping faucet and watching birds through the window. He has lived with other cats and a dog.
