This will be a long one. Non-hunters often get their un**es knotted up when they see a picture like this. They “see” only a “snapshot in time,” the hunter “gripping and grinning” and hate the hunter for seemingly bragging about “killing.” These people simply do not have the knowledge to judge a photo like this, they have no idea of the time, effort, skill, patience, dedication, practice, cost and desire it takes to make a photo like this. And most importantly, the non-hunters who are offended by this type of photo, don’t have the wisdom to accept that they don’t understand something that...they don’t understand! The reality for the hunter who sees a photo like this is entirely different, because they understand that the photo is a memory of “hunting” including ALL the aforementioned elements and that the photo is definitely NOT about “killing.”

Hi everyone I just wanted to show you the proper cuts to make on any animal for a shoulder mount. I hope this helps as a reference to you.
Side note- when in doubt always keep more cape especially in the front where the brisket and arm pit are. Thanks!! I wish you safe happy hunting and good luck on your adventures!!
