Meet Cookie, an adorable dog whose name is as sweet as her personality! Cookie is currently up for adoption at the Amarillo SPCA, and we had the pleasure of spoiling her for a day at our hotel last week. We all fell in love with her!

During her evaluation, Cookie showed some protectiveness over toys and potentially the people she bonds with. However, this behavior can be addressed through proper training. We believe she would do best as an only sibling, but a proper eval (meet and greet) with her potential sibling would be best. At only 2 years old, Cookie is one smart Cookie!

She was found outside of the SPCA, tied to a crate and pregnant. Now that her puppies have all been adopted, Cookie is looking for her forever home.
She absolutely adores people and deserves to experience all the love and happiness life has to offer. If you're interested in adopting Cookie or would like more information, please contact the Amarillo SPCA.

We had a wonderful week with our furry guests! Saint Augustine, the Weimaraner, was especially enthusiastic and made sure to participate in every single video. It was great to see Sunshine, a newer daycare pup, come out of her shell and play with her new friend Mia! We are so lucky to get to hang out with all of these sweet pups!!

We are thrilled to share that our hotel manager, Crystal, has been chosen as the Employee/Manager of the Month by our amazing team! She has worked at Canine for 4 years and we feel so lucky to have her on our team. Her knowledge about our clients and her love for our furry guests is truly remarkable. Crystal is an integral member of our Canine family, and we cannot thank her enough for her dedication and hard work. Congratulations, Crystal!

We are delighted to announce that Sweet Bella has been voted as the Dog of the Month for September! Bella has been a regular visitor for over four years now, and we simply adore her! She is the sweetest dog and it is always a pleasure to spend time with her. We appreciate her friendship and loyalty to us. Thank you, Bella!

Our giant tennis ball was a fan favorite this week! Unfortunately, no matter how hard he tried, Whiskey was unable to fit it in his mouth. Still adorable though. We have the best guests!!

We had so much fun with our new friend, Barbie, from the Amarillo SPCA! She is 7 years old and has spent the last 6 years of her life in the shelter. She is friendly and playful with female pups but does not like male dogs. We believe she would do best in a home with another female pup. She loves all humans but is unsure when it comes to small children, we suspect this is because she has never seen them before! We would still advise caution if introduced to young kids.
