It's March and we know what that means - savings on Wellness, Weight and Nutrition Exams for your fluffy loved one! Over feeding our pet is something we can all be guilty of, as well as the occasional moments of sharing OUR tasty food with them. AMTech interns Vianette, Mia, and Yunue are gaining invaluable experience at High Plains Veterinary Clinic! They are involved in routine examinations and contribute to the care of our patients. With a strong focus on detail, they diligently check each animal for microchips and assist in monitoring basic patient vital signs.

Additionally, the interns are enhancing their skill sets by practicing blood draws on lifelike dog mannequins, under the expert guidance of our experienced team.

Their dedication and enthusiasm are essential to our mission of nurturing the next generation of pet care professionals. Through this partnership, high school students can graduate with a Veterinary Assistant certification, equipping them with the essential knowledge and practical experience they need to start their careers in animal care. 🐶🐱🐾
