Seems like the day they hit the ground it will be FOREVER before you ever get to swing a leg over them let alone make it to the show pen and now here we are headed to the NRHA futurity with my second homegrown.

So blessed to live this journey. From the day I sent the stallion contract to the day I sent my final futurity payment. 🫶🏻

I’m getting so excited for futurity season so start (Tulsa end of August) to show my pretty dun girl Daisy 🌼 (sg frozen enterprize x cc Tejana twostep). She is really starting to get her job comes out daily and is all business and the tricks are getting consistent and easy for her 😍

June was one of the most busiest months here. Right after a very successful VRH world show we slept for about 5 hours and loaded up and headed to Ft. Worth for the APHA world show for another successful HOT 🥵 show.
The show started out with the reining and ended with ranch riding, trail and rail classes. Putthatsuckeronspin “Piper” owned by Amy Bishop had her first outing for the yr. She was last shown at the NRHA futurity in November and I cruised her to an easy 210 in the limited open winning 3rd and some paint loot and a 💴 And we went again on novice open way later that day for another 3 winning more paint horse loot and more 💴. So proud of this mare who was raised right here at Diamond H 😍.
For the paint horse derby I entered Givin Me The Feelz “Patty”. Also her first outing since the the futurity and just 🤩 she was so great this was her 3rd time in show pen some spin penalties hurt our score but she still ended up 209.5 and also brought home 💰 as well. Then 2 days later she was entered into the SPB ranch riding all ages sweepstakes and world show class where she ended up reserve champion and 7th in tie sweepstakes! I never work on ranch riding with her but she’s just so willing and knows her transitions from her early on start here that she trasitioned over perfect 😍
Jessica didn’t give her mare Miss Whizolena “Annee” anytime off from her duties at VRH world and entered in the novice horse non pro and had a beautiful run that earned them 💸. Then still no time off before she entered her into the NSBA IRHA triple crown challenge where she was a finalist in trail (with a big spook from longhorns 😅) and did very well in the rail with a 6,5,3,1 averaging out to be 5 over all earning some IRHA loot and more 💴.

Next stop 100x reining classic in Tulsa 🤗

This mare is so very special to me since I raised her and she’s Twosteps first foal 🫶🏻 I will you and Patty all the luck and success in the world and I will always be your biggest cheerleader 📣

To say I’m so super proud of these ladies is an understatement! The accomplishments that we all had at VRH world almost brought tears to my eyes. Amanda, Ashley and Jessica have worked so hard this last yr and it showed.
First want to say how much I loved having VRH world in our own back yard. The weather was great, tons of parking, stalling was amazing with lots of room and also cool and the fact there was open arenas to ride in all day just made it great. Doing trail on the pouring rain l,, ah not so great but that’s ranching 😂.

Ashley Posthumus and her great gelding Metallic Chilly had some of there best runs and scores to date.
🏆NRSHA Amateur All Around National Champions
🏆Ranching Heritage Level 1 Working Ranch Horse Champions.
🏆4th in the World for VRH All Around 🏆Top 5 in cutting, trail and ranch riding and world champion ranch riding NRSHA
And also taking home some 💵

Amanda West and her gelding Ima Hot One Sir had an amazing first time world show success.

Jessica Zaharia has brought her reining mare out semi retirement and she entered the all around even cutting and box drive box. A lead change penalty in Ranch riding cost her a top 5 finish but she went m into trail and made up for it scoring a 251 and earned a 💵

Heather Thompson and High In Rio had many of there best runs ever. Scoring a 215.5 in cutting, 217.5 in reining, and a 225 in ranch riding. Those scores are her new all time PR.
