Great things happen with rescues and shelters work together!!

Ol Man is going home!! He was happy to see his Daddy and Daddy was thrilled that this sweet Ol boy was safe and coming home! Time to get him home and fattened up!! He was.on the run for several days and lost weight but Daddy is gonna make sure he get fat and sassy again!!

This Ol Man was found in Mt
Orab tonight...exhausted, cold and hungry. The wonderful woman that saw him laying in the road stopped to make sure he was alive or move him out of the road if he had passed.

Luckily he was alive and she found us..called and we answered!!

She brought this boy to us, we contacted Brown County Humane Society Dog Shelter right away. They posted his pictures..someone who knew this Old boys people saw it and contacted the owner!!

Owner reached out to Brown County and was given our number...

HAPPY ENDINGS LIKE THIS JUST DON'T HAPPEN NEAR ENOUGH!!

Pups name is Ol Man!! and his daddy has been worried sick..Ol Man is a retired hunting dog that just wanted to hunt one last time! He had been gone for several days and the owner was so thankful that Ol Man is safe!!

He goes home in the morning!! We will post reunion photos!!

We always mix in some canned to their kibble so that meal time is more enjoyable!!

So thankful for our awesome team.
I am spending my 2nd night in a row at the adoption center (been here since Saturday at 8am) so that my awesome folks can stay off the roads.

Chris and Emily brought me a wonderful homecooked meal of pasta with meatballs, salad, garlic toast and even homemade cookies!!

PLEAE SHARE WITH ALL LOCAL RESCUES...IMPORTANT

Shutting down the comments...honestly people...as much as we want to help every dog..where would the money come from? We are exhausted (as are all rescues and shelters), UNPAID, broke, and just can't do it. Those making snide comments can see themselves off our page.

Sorry...just frustrated with those assigning the blame on us that this jacka** of a human would not provide us with the info ANY Rescue would require...

COMMENTS ARE CLOSED..

We received a phone call a moment ago from with the number 570-764-0### wanting to surrender 2 golden retriever puppies that he "bought from a breeder".

i am assuming HE IS A BACKYARD BREEDER.

He refused to send me any pictures or information...said i didn't need it...

He got very rude when I asked about vetting status and shots. Said it was none of my business..Said the puppies were 8 weeks old and completely house trained...which is impossible.

Guy was horrible on the phone..yelling at me for asking if they had shots yet or worming.

WAY TOO MANY RED FLAGS

The only information he would give me is that the puppies "were not right" but refused to explain what they meant

But please don't contact us saying you want to surrender your dog that you can't afford to pay vet bills for while sending us a picture of you and the dog standing in front of your expensive car, you wearing UGG boots, expensive purse on your arm, diamond wedding ring, a 24 pack of beer in the background and a cigarette in your hand.

If you can afford those things, you can afford to get your dog to the vet!!

Today's food give away!!! Cars lined up 125 all the way to the Tractor Supply!!!

174 families received free food for their pups today. Today was selected to honor William Coplen , our former Director, who passed away 4 months ago today. This was for you William.

We have so many wonderful pups waiting for homes!! Meet and greets on Saturday from noon -4pm

Meet Kroger!! This adorable little girl was dumped at the Kroger Amelia parking lot recently is now off stray hold. She will be available for adoption on Saturday Feb. 8. We think she's likely a shepherd/Rottweiler mix baby. About 12-14 weeks old. She is adorable!! know accepting applications! Teamwork!! Our Outreach program was able to assist our friends at Bracken County Animal Shelter Johnson County Animal Services and Clermont County Animal Shelter today!!! We are so lucky to have such a wonderful team of volunteers and have been able to restart the Outreach program that William Coplen worked so hard to get going!! Our Outreach program was designed to assist rural shelters, our community and i. the instance of natural disaster free of charge! I think he would have been so proud to see this today!!

I am soooo thankful for our wonderful and dedication team who are braving the weather to get to the adoption center to care for our pups!! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful team Ann Crone Debbie Speak-Ross @Brant Ross Patrick Cahall @emily May William would be so proud of this wonderful team!!

Have I said lately how thankful I am for our awesome team? Patrick Cahall and our guys have worked so hard on the upstairs area...cleaning, rebuilding...I wasn't allowed up there for the past couple of weeks...they took me up on Christmas morning to "show me the progress they were making ".... Instead I found this wonderful tribute to William. I am so thankful for the love and support of this wonderful team of ours.
