I just wanted to let everybody know that my last day in the shop will be October 14th. I still have a few openings if you need to get your dog in, You can leave me a message or you can call me at 208-648-8460. I will miss all of you and your cute doggies. If you gave asked for an appointment thru my last post I have responded with dates and times just let me know if that will work for you. As of now I will be taking appointments for the first 2 weeks of October . Thank you all for the out poiring of love I will miss you all!

I am very sad to say that the Dirty Dog will be closing no later then November 1st.
We have decided to move back home to California.
If I can get more appointments for October I will stay open till November 1st other wise I will be closing the end of September. If you need your dog done its time to make those appointments before you will have to drive back to Pocatello for them.

Now is a great time to bring your pets inside. The loud noises like fireworks can make them break out yards and jump over fences. If you have Id tags put them on yoir pets. Keep them safe!

Update: So I had Meme on the CBD oil for about a week 2 a day. It worked she is over her episode and I didn’t have to use any steroids. Happy dog and Happy Mama!

Pippy on the other hand is really grumpy and its hard giving her the CBD. I am going to try putting it in a treat and see if that helps.

I have decided to try the Pet CBD on Meme for her Collapsed Trachea and Pippy because she is always grunpy and she didn’t care for the fireworks last night. I will keep you updated on how it works.

Most Animals do not like loud sounds so plan ahead and make sure you keep them safe.

A friendly reminder! Keep your dogs inside so they don’t suffer from this heat. If we are hot they are to.
Also remember that I can take your dog for a walk do it in the early morning or late evening when it’s cooler the ground tempature can blister a dogs foot pads.

🐶Are you on the fence and have been looking for a good quality food to feed your pets?
🐶I have taken a few pictures of some great foods I would recommend.
🐶My dogs have been on Whole Earth for a few years now and have done very well on it. They have also had Wellness!
🐶Try to avoid the grocery store brands like pedigree, alpo etc. This is like feeding your dog Mcdonald’s everyday and has very little nutritional value.
🐶Benifits of a better food will result in less p**p pick up and will decrease shedding!

Bodie Ann has been adopted by my client Pat. This is such great news! I know she is going to have an amazing life. She even has a big brother Tucker a chocolate lab.

Due to some changing circumstances in the owners life this sweet 5 year old Cocker Spaniel is looking for a new forever home. I have been grooming her since I opened the Dirty Dog. Her name is Bodie Ann she is spayed and current on vaccinations, she plays well with my little dogs. If you are interested in giving her a forever home please leave me a message and I will forward it to the owner.

After doing rescue for over 15 years I have seen many great dogs come and go , some we have a history on and others we don’t know anything. This is great post that shows how long it can take a dog to adjust, also remember you are adjusting to the dog. It takes time, don’t get a dog if you aren’t willing to put in the time. A dog can live 16 + years . If you decide to get a dog it can make your life that much better❤️

I am so happy to welcome in the New Year!

I am making a few changes, I have increased my pricimg by $5-15 depending on size of dog and breed, so moving forward I would appreciate that all my clients go on a 4 to 8 week schedule depending on the pets needs. This way I can offer you the same price each visit.

If you choose not to be on a schedule then the price of your groom will be determined by the condition of your pet, behavior and and how long it will take me to groom .

If you refer a client you will get $5 off your groom.

Nail trims are available for $10-20 depending on size of dog
Dogs under 10 pounds are $5

If you do not show up for your appointment there will be a $ 20
charge added to your next visit so please if you need to reschedule call me. I have no problem moving your appointment.
