We take great pride in our dogs and do our very best to create the best dog for every home. We try to go above and beyond when breeding and raising our puppies. Playing catch-up! Last weekend I ran away to Idaho for one of my favorite shows. Icing on the cake was that this year the Cascade Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club sponsored a GSMD specialty and the turnout was amazing! Over 50 Swissys were entered and many of our friends made the trip to hang out with us. Much fun was had! Thank you to all those who volunteered time and effort to make it happen! Timber was the Blue Hill man of the hour, winning Winners Dog the day of the specialty, finishing his championship in style! I'm so proud of him and his owner handler for all of their hard work! Congratulations you two!! Also a shout out for another Blue Hill adjacent pair, Phyllis (and Kim) of Salt Water Swissys was Winners Bitch two of the days which also finished her championship, way to go! Elle picked up 2 nice reserve wins and the rest of the team all showed great and had a good time. Always a pleasure Idaho!

Soldier Hollow Sheepdog Classic working dog demos 2024, done and done! 4 days of fun in the books! I really love this event, for so many reasons, it really is one of my favorites.
A couple shout outs, one to Versa Dog training for including us, welcoming us, giving us prime tent real estate for our crates, treating us like a part of the Versa family, taking photos for me, helping handle extra dogs, MCing for us (Michelle is the GOAT) and just being all around lovely humans and dogs. We really enjoy this weekend with you and your entire team. You rock my socks!!
A second shout out to Redrock GSMD (Jen and Steve) for holding down the puppy fort for 4 days while we ran away to play demo dogs. My mind was at ease leaving babies at home during these days knowing they were well taken care of! Thank you thank you!!
Always thanks to my right hand woman Val (with Elle and Cruze) for going along with all my crazy.
Thank you to our extra volunteers who brought dogs up to show off their working dog skills! Talia\Nana, Cindy\Goldie, Salt Water Swissys\Phoenix and Maedli and Jay for being willing to handle a dog when one gets tossed at you!
And finally thank you Ray for taking the puppy night shift for 3 whole nights so that I could sleep after extroverting far too much each day. 😊

Dog show weekend over! I'll post a full recap in a bit but right at this moment I can't wait to brag on my boy! Doune dog did so well this weekend, not only did he take Select Dog 2 of the 4 days and Owner Handler Best of Breed 3 of the 4 days but he got an Owner Handler Group 4 on Friday and an Owner Handler Group 1 today!!!! I'm so proud of this boy, he is the bestest most sweet hunk of burning love ever!!

Swissmas success!! Such a fun tradition! We had over 30 Swissys aged 10+ down to 10 weeks. Thank you to all who helped, brought food, and came to join! I'm always in awe of the awesomeness of this community. You should've seen our awesome raffle and white elephant contributions! We had such a great time catching up and being together. Thank you Wasatch Canine Camp once again for allowing our group to congregate in your facility!

Logan Utah (Mount Ogden kennel club) is one of the most beautiful show sites ever! I love it every year even with it's wacky weather! Snow and sunburns all in a weekend. This was the selecting of the awards on Sunday when we finally got some absolutely lovely weather. Thanks for the vid clip Montana! Today Miss fancy pants CH Jora came into the big kid ring for the first time as a big kid and she went and beat her mom. Awe snap. Baby Timber (Doune bro) had his first day playing dog show ever and got a point! And was naughty in the end lineup, he spotted his dad and tried to leave his mom high and dry in the ring! Oh the drama! Oh the betrayal!

Nightly chew fest at our house. This is every single night when Ray and I settle down to watch TV.
