Last week our pups received a donation of delicious organic treats from Tootie's Treats and they LOVED them! Woofles, Bacon Cheddar Bites, and I Woof U Hearts were a few of the favorites. Thank you from the staff and canine companions at AMHS! 🐾

We have so much to be grateful for this holiday season - and all year long - because of the support we receive from our amazing community. The New Richmond Vet Clinic brought us a generous donation of Purina products to support the health of our pets - thank you for thinking of us!
💚❤️

Yesterday, after her routine spay surgery, Vivie suddenly developed serious complications and was rushed to Countryside Vet in New Richmond, who kindly squeezed her in at the end of their day. After examining her, they recommended that she be brought to the Animal Emergency & Referral Center (AERC) in Oakdale. They were incredibly helpful – contacting AERC and stabilizing Vivie for the trip, we genuinely appreciate everything they did to help Vivie — and to help us.
Thanks to the skilled team at AERC, Vivie made it safely through the night. In true puppy fashion, she was even trying to play with the staff after surgery — because of course she was. 🐾💕
This morning, we got the best news possible: Vivie is doing well and may even be discharged today. We cannot begin to express how grateful we are for the skilled hands and kind hearts who cared for her when she needed it most.
But little miracles come with big bills.
Vivie’s emergency care totaled $6,500, which took a significant bite out of our Veterinary Special Needs Fund — the fund that lets us say “yes” when an animal needs urgent, life-saving help.
If you would like to help with the cost of Vivie’s care — which in turn helps us care for future animals in crisis — we would be so grateful.
You can click the link below to donate online or submit a donation in person or by US Mail. Our address is 185 Griffin St E, Amery, WI 54001.
Please make a note that the donation is for Vivie. Any funds raised beyond the cost of her care will go directly into the Veterinary Special Needs Fund.
