🐶🐾 PET OF THE WEEK!
Our Pet of the Week is Bodi, a 5-month-old neutered male cattle dog/border collie mix with a heart full of potential. Bodi may be timid, but with a little patience and love, he’s sure to become a loyal companion. This sweet pup is working hard on potty training and is already making great strides. Bodi thrives on cuddles and enjoys being close to his people, providing warmth and affection in return. Though he needs time to build confidence in himself and the world around him, he warms up quickly with gentle care. Arnell Memorial Humane Society attended Amery Fall Festival activities on Saturday. We had a great group at the Arts and Craft Fair at Soo Line Park and some walked in the parade!

At the Arts and Craft Fair, we sold raffle tickets, discussed volunteer and foster opportunities, chatted with folks about their adopted pets from AMHS, and offered guidance on pet issues.

During the parade, some of our smiling walkers threw candy out while pushing shopping carts dressed as cats and dogs, while others walked dogs. Many spectators enjoyed petting the dogs during the parade.

It was a fun filled event in our community and we are thankful to have been a part of it!

Google has informed us that they are celebrating S'mores today. We thought "Why not celebrate our S'More!" This 2-year-old sweetheart has a soft, medium-length tabby and white coat and a gentle, quiet demeanor. Though she may be a bit timid at first, S'More quickly warms up and reveals her affectionate side. She gets along great with other cats and would do okay with a dog. A bit more independent, she’ll search you out when she’s ready for cuddles. S'More is also playful and loves exploring every nook and cranny. If you're looking for a calm, affectionate, and curious companion, S'More could be the perfect addition to your home!
