I’ve been very bad about posting dogs but wanted to give everyone an update! As you all know I started my maternity leave so it’s been Brilee, Sam and Jacki grooming and holding down the shop. I’m still very pregnant but baby can come anytime as well as we are coming into the craziest time of year!
With that said we are FULLY BOOKED for 2024! The girls have tried to make appointments for everyone and that includes working later or earlier some days but we have no appointments left at this time. (We can add you to a cancellation list in the off chance of a cancellation for the holiday season.)
This also means we won’t be accepting new clients at this time and will be booking new clients into February/ March of 2025!

Thank you all for all your continued love and support and if we don’t see you this year we can’t wait to see you in 2025 and wish you a wonderful holiday season! 🦃🎄
I will keep everyone updated on baby and any other announcements and hope to post more daily dog photos 🤪

Great news! I have THREE rounds of 🎅🎄CHRISTMAS MINIS🎄🎅coming up! The first event is being held on Saturday, 11/9 at The Dirty Dog Grooming Salon in Amherst, NH from 10am-12pm. This event will benefit Granite State Dog Recovery.

Spots are limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. A $50 non-refundable retainer is required to fully secure your spot.

🎉3️⃣ YEARS! 🎉

This is a long sappy post!

October 4- the day The Dirty Dog opened 3 years ago, my last day before maternity leave and almost to the day the day I started grooming 10 years ago! (October 6)

To say I am proud of where this business has gone is an understatement, I never would have believed we would be in the position we are.
When I first signed the lease here my Dad and I were talking about them wanting to do a 3 year lease, I was nervous as I was just starting. He looked at me and said “well do you think you can make it 3 years?” Well here we are 3 years later, 3 employees later and hundreds of clients later and I believe we have made it!

Leaving the Doggie Bag was such a bittersweet time as I was so excited to open my own business, scared for what that held and sad to say bye to the place I called home for 7 years! I’m so thankful to them for their friendship, all I learned in my years there, the amazing opportunities and experiences and their continued love and support in my own business.
I have clients that I have been seeing almost my entire 10 years who have seen me graduate high school, get a boyfriend, start my own business, hire 1 employee, get engaged, 2nd employee, married, to a 3rd employee and now be there as I start a family.

3 years ago when thinking of the future and starting a family one day I would have said I would have to shut the business down for a couple months to have time with my baby. Never did I think I would have 3 AMAZING coworkers that I can wholeheartedly trust to keep this business going. (Don’t worry I’ll still be popping in as I can’t imagine going weeks without being here!)

Thank you to all of you, my amazing sidekicks, my Mom for all you do here and will be doing with this new addition, the girls at The Doggie Bag and of course all of our amazing clients. I truly would not be anywhere near here without all the love and support you have all shown me. 💚

Can’t wait to see what the next 3 years have in store!
