Happy tails….! Tonight we are so happy to share that Stewart has found his forever family. This sweet guy is now living a life of relaxation like he always deserved. 🧘🏽‍♂️ Like many of our rescues, Stewart needed Heartworm ❤️🐛treatment before he was able to be adopted. Heartworm is a very serious diagnosis for a dog, and can be deadly if left untreated. Treatment is difficult on the patient, and expensive for rescues. Buffalo Underdogs focuses on helping the dogs that need us most, including Heartworm Positive dogs like Stewart. With the help of our supporters, BUR gets them the treatment they need and the time to rest and recover. Then they help them find their forever families. We love seeing our special guys like Stewart overcome all obstacles and find their happily ever after. ❤️

Meet Sally, the pint-sized adventurer! This 4-pound terrier mix may only be 8 weeks old, but she’s already stealing hearts with her adorable clumsiness and playful spirit. Sally loves to explore the world (and sometimes trips over her own paws while doing it!). She’s happiest chasing her sister around, wrestling with toys, and chewing on bones. When she’s done with her daily antics, she’s ready to snuggle up and settle into your lap for some serious cuddle time.

Sally may be little, but she’s mighty when it comes to being a good girl! She’s making impressive progress with potty training and is already sleeping soundly through the night in her pen—no complaints at all! This goofy, lovable pup gets along great with other dogs and will bring endless laughs and snuggles to her forever family. Happy tails….littermates edition! Today we are so excited to share that several of our Country Cuties litter have been adopted! Merle, Johnny (now Cooper), Hank (now Boone) and Dolly have all found their perfect forever families and we couldn’t be happier! We hope to see many updates on our alumni page. ❤️

We have a very exciting announcement this morning! Molly has found her perfect forever family, complete with a new fur sibling and BFF. ❤️ But even more exciting is that Molly is the 1,500th rescue by Buffalo Underdogs since we started in 2018!!! 🥳🎉 We couldn’t be happier to help all of these dogs find their way to their loving forever families.

Fern has been enjoying the summer life for sure ☀️ We have learned so much about his silly, free spirited and goofy personality the past few months and we just have to share it with you! This guy is 7 months old and learning so much every single day. He is living the best foster life he can and doesn’t let a single moment pass him by. Even though he makes the best of life he is desperately searching for his forever family to continue learning how much love people have to give! He is so smart and know sit, down, paw, stay and off.
