🌍✈️ Planning to travel with your dog to the US from Canada? 🐶 Stay informed about the latest CDC requirements to ensure a smooth journey for you and your furry friend.

If you are bringing a dog into the US from a dog rabies-free or low-risk rabies country, you now only need to fill out the simple CDC Dog Import Form. Other forms are no longer needed. The requirements for dogs arriving from high-risk rabies countries have not changed, and these dogs are still required to have additional documents.

Nala is our hospital managers beloved cat & Dr. Caruana performed her annual routine dental cleaning!

Feline dentals are much more than a pretty smile; they’re vital for the cat’s overall health!

Oral disease in cats can lead to serious consequences, including severe pain, inflammation and tooth loss.

Annual cleanings help prevent these issues, ensuring better chewing, less pain and lower risk of infections that can affect the heart, kidneys and more.

After being anesthetized, Dr. Caruana and a licensed veterinary technician take dental x-rays to help spot any hidden issues like abscesses, fractures or tooth root problems that may not be visible to the naked eye.

Dr. Caruana then takes a look around the mouth to determine if any teeth need to be extracted and the condition of the teeth.

After Dr. Caruana is finished, our veterinary technicians clean and polish the teeth!

By doing annual dental cleanings we are able to catch any problems early, we can provide prompt treatment, ensuring your pets dental health stays on track for a lifetime of happy and healthy smiles!
