During this holiday season, We all cherish the memory of our departed pets in a special way. That is why every year our doctors and staff set up a memorial tree in their honor. Post cards went out at the beginning of the week to notify our clients to call us if they would like one as we do hand make them. Canine influenza, or “dog flu,” is a highly contagious respiratory illness that can be passed from dog to dog. It typically starts with a cough and can be mistaken for the more common and well-known Bordetella. In some cases, canine influenza can progress to pneumonia.
