Time for puppy shots! Heading to the vet!
Kala and Sassi playing
Kala + Sassi = friends for life
Kala has been in the house for the last 5-6 weeks while she was pregnant/had puppies. She mostly ignored Sassi and would get between me and Sassi if I tried to play with her. She did not want her in her face at all.
Surprisingly yday, she decided to play with her. The beauty of this is that means she has finally accepted Sassi as a member of our “pack”!!
Only drawback is they decided 3 am was Happy Hour this morning and I had to crate Sassi so I could go back to sleep LOL
4 week old puppies
Kala and Aslan pups.
Some people wanted to know what I do with my own puppy once I get one.
I normally get them at 8-9 weeks old and I start training certain things. Of course potty training and crate training is done immediately, but obedience starts about a week later.
With your sit, down, come and starting the retrieve, I teach all of our shepherds using German commands.
I will be posting several videos of our newest puppy, Sassi, and she is 15 weeks old now.
The first video shows how to prevent food aggression. She was 9 weeks old at that time.
Stay tuned for more posts to come!
Remo being Remo LOL
He’s such a goofball!!
One year old working line male available. Eris/Havoc litter- returned due to no fault of his own. AKC registered, DM clear, medium-high drive. Already crate and potty trained. Would be great for sport work. Very serious inquiries only- send private message.
Remo, Start obedience early. All puppies need to be trained. They need to be taught the right way to do things.
Teaching Remo some ball play.
This is what happens if you knock on our door and I open it- the Austin’s greeting committee welcomes you (or scares the crap out of you)!!
