Well finally got this stuff pictured a couple plaques short forgot the certificates and the metals, but this photo puts our trip to TThe Ohio Nationalin prospective on what pastime farms won that weekend. But next year birds are on the way. Like everyone else we will be making a few internal changes hoping to improve a few things.

Hey everyone Pastime Farms in Amite La is hiring a fulltime staff to work with our poultry, puppies and other farm animals 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. We are looking for dependable, animal friendly hard workers that enjoy working with and in nature. Applicants must have reliable transportation; experience with kennels/animals is preferred. We've had to say goodbye to our dear friend Randy Rome who has worked with us the past 6 years! He died in his sleep of heart failure. He will be missed by many children who saw him on the Red Barn and by us at the farm. We are a family here so we are extremely saddened by this!

Russell placed best of breed with his white standard cockerel, best variety on a white standard cockerel, best variety on a white laced red standard cockerel, best variety on a dark standard hen and reserve variety on a dark cockerel, best variety on a white laced red bantam hen, white laced red hen was 5th best of breed Cornish bantam, reserve variety on a white laced red bantam pullet, 2nd place on a spangle hen by our friend Darrell Glenn Saucier and reserve variety on a bourbon red jake turkey! These winnings were at the Ohio National!

The Red Barn socializes kiddos about farm life including our puppies! Today we have 9 week old Standard Poodles from Pastime Poodles (3 available!) and Jack Russells from Snow Creek Jack Russell. These kiddos love playing with all of the animals and we love what we do introducing kiddos and some adults to all of our animals! It's amazing seeing kiddos come to life around our animals!
