This girl is going places! And honestly, wherever she wants, because she’s just that good. Like, “Week 1 made her mom cry happy tears” good. (Which then made me cry. So now we’re all just emotionally unstable in the best way 😭😂)

It takes a lot of love and trust to hand your dog over to a stranger and say, “Please help her shine.” And that’s exactly what her owners did. Maple’s family gave her the gift of training. Not because she was bad, but because they love her that much. And that kind of love…MAN… That’s what makes my job so dang special.

Maple, you were an absolute blast.
This isn’t the end of yalls training journey, it’s just the beginning. And we will always be here to cheer you on and help if you ever get stuck.

We’re officially kicking off something special! 🎉
Gen1 K9 and are teaming up to host our very first dog training seminar — and registration is now open! 🐾

Whether you’ve been curious about working with us but weren’t quite ready to commit, or you just brought home a new pup and want to start off on the right paw — this is the perfect opportunity.

We’re offering both working spots (for hands-on training with your dog) and auditor spots (for those who want to learn by observing, taking notes and asking all the questions). Either way, you’ll gain valuable insight, proven techniques, and a better understanding of how to build a strong, real-world relationship with your dog.

Say hello to our newest board & train student, Maple! This sweet girl just checked in for our 3-week program where she’ll be learning all the puppy essentials — from basic manners and leash skills to proper socialization and how to be a well-behaved companion in public spaces.

Memorial Day isn’t just a date on the calendar. It’s a moment to pause, to remember, and to honor the brave souls who never made it home. Their sacrifice makes it possible for dogs like Hercules to bring peace to those still healing, one gentle paw at a time.

I’m overjoyed to share that Sasha has officially completed her training with us! Huge thanks to her amazing owners for trusting us to help them build a stronger bond through teamwork, communication, and consistency.
This milestone is just the beginning—training doesn’t end here, it’s a lifelong journey. And trust me, it only gets better from here!

Say hello to Sasha, the newest member of the Gen1 K9 Pack!

Sasha is joining us for a 3-week Day Train program where she’ll be working on her manners—at home 🏡, in the car 🚗, on leash 🐾, and out in public 🌎. We’ll also be helping her stay neutral around other dogs and building her confidence with some separation anxiety work.

We’re so excited to watch this sweet girl grow over the next few weeks! Let’s get to work, Sasha!

Congratulations you did it Sadie!!!
I met Sadie last summer when she was enrolled in my group class. She was just a wittle baby puppy then.
When her owner contacted me almost a year later I was so excited to get to work with her again.
It started out rough but we eventually found what worked best for her and she excelled in our program! Good job Sadie, good job momma! I can’t wait to see yall continue to grow together through training.

Oh goodness! We forgot to properly introduce miss Sadie!!!
Sadie is a 1 year old mixed ball of energy with no manners 🤣
So she will be with us for a 3 week Board Train to learn some much needed manners. Her owners main concerns are her jumping, chaotic walks due to her pulling, and barking at people who come to their home. Follow along to see her progress!
