Best news ever!!! Our longest foster resident has been adopted! Indy, now Honey, has found her forever home! We are so happy for Honey and her new mama ❤️. Thank you to everyone for contributing towards her large medical bills. All that work was so worth it!

Indy is still available for adoption!!!

Indy is a 3 year old Doberman princess! She is potty trained and absolutely great with other dogs! She is spayed and fully vaccinated. Indy did come to us with a fracture back leg, which we had surgically repaired. She has since healed from her surgery and is ready for her forever home! Due to her injury, Indy will always have a small limp, but is otherwise fully healthy and perfect! Help us spread the word about Indy and let’s get her adopted!

Some news to keep everyone updated. 3rd time was the charm for Russo! Beautiful Russo won the jackpot with his new family! They have been spoiling him and giving him all the love he deserves for the past couple months, plus he has a new dog sibling to play with!

Our floppy eared cutie pie is ready to leave his medical foster! Are you interested in fostering or adopting this guy?
Chevy has successfully completed his treatment and is doing so well! He’s running, playing and living his best puppy life! We are beyond grateful to for getting him to this point and being an amazing foster mom and therapist! Because of Chevy’s great progress, it is time for him to move on and make room for other dogs that need treatment. We are looking for someone to foster Chevy, whether short or long term. He’s great with kids and other dogs! He has yet to interact with cats, but is still young enough to properly introduce a cat relationship. Chevy is about 20lbs and 4 months old. Fully vaccinated.

Mama Trinity aka Shelby is still hanging in there! As we mentioned a few weeks ago, we got hit hard with several of our dogs getting sick. The reality of the rescue world is when we pull dogs out of shelters or from off the street, it’s unknown what their previous medical condition are. We always make sure we do full vet screening and address any issues before adopting out our rescue dogs.
Shelby is a prime example! This sweet and amazing mama came to us after she was found wandering on a side of the freeway. Trinity seemed to be healthy and we provided her and her puppies a safe place. However, once she was done nursing and her puppies were old enough to be on their own, we decided to spay Shelby. Shortly after, we noticed Shelby was starting to feel sick. As symptoms worsen, we starting testing for everything. Unfortunately, Shelby tested positive for Distemper, a highly contagious neurological virus. The fight is still on to save our beloved Shelby and give her the fighting chance she deserves. Shelby is currently at a specialty hospital getting the care she needs. Her recent bloodwork shows a low viral load of Distemper, which means the virus is slowly making its way out of her system! 🙏🏽 Shelby is a fighter and has so much love to give. As long as she continues to fight, we are too right next to her!

Specialist, hospitalization and medication is super expensive these days! While absolutely worth it, Shelby’s care has taken a big chunk out of our budget. If you are able, please consider donating towards Shelby’s care or towards any of our other dogs. It’s because of your support we can continue to do what we do and give these dogs a chance!

We haven’t done an update on Indy in a while! This perfect girl has been hanging out with our founder’s pack while continuing to heal! She is absolutely perfect and such a sweetheart. In case you don’t remember, we pulled Indy from a kill shelter before she was set to be euthanized. Shelter notes did advise Indy had a fractured back leg. Once in our care, we scheduled an appointment and had her fracture repaired by our trusted orthopedic surgeon. Due to the time period of the fracture and the severity of it, there was always a chance the repair might not work. Post surgery, we started noticing some discharge from the surgery area and after some testing, it’s seems Indy has an infection and amputation was put on the table. During our recheck appointment with the orthopedic surgeon today, he mentioned a potential medication we can try to hit the infection hard and save her leg!
It’s always our goal to do what’s best for the pets in our care and give them the GREATEST chance to find their forever home and live a healthy life! We will continue to explore options for Indy’s leg, while in the meantime giving her all the love she deserves.

Help!!!

We are in need of a foster for mama Trinity aka Shelby. Mama previous foster was only able to keep her for 3 weeks and Friday is our deadline to get her out and into a new foster. Trinity is still in recovery and is in need of a foster that either works from home or has someone in the home that can monitor her. We are looking for a foster that does not have other dogs in the home. At this point we are desperate and willing to pay a foster to help out our girl! A lot has happened in the last couple of weeks! Here are our updates:
- Trinity (mom of puppies) is feeling better and finally in a temporary foster home to continue healing.
- Russo is officially adopted and loving his new dad!
- Chevy is on the road to recovery and is getting stronger everyday. His therapist is fostering him and providing daily treatments! He’s expected to make a full recovery and we are hopeful 🤞🏽
- Indy is still healing from her fracture leg surgery. We are in contact with her orthopedic surgeon and looking into next steps to continue helping her!
