Congrats to our most recent graduate Blue! Way to go. Blue worked with his when he was 10 weeks old. And came back months later to do formal training with us. In my up coming in dog training I was always told that the “Place” command was useless and it was just a long “down,stay” or “sit,stay” and it served no purpose to the dog.
The “Place” command does have and serve a purpose to our dogs.
What’s is the place command you might ask ?

“place” means “go-to-the-spot-I-tell-you-and-stay-there-until-I-release-you.” In this command, your dog has no choice but to stay there.
Benefits of “Place” command
* gives your dog a place to relax
* Helps dogs with separation anxiety
* Builds up confidence
* Cue your dog to go to a certain object/ location.

Before coming to us Barli was exhibiting some unwanted behaviors. Jumping, barking at anything and everything. Pulling on the leash, he pulled his owner down and had to get shoulder surgery. When I first met him he was barking growling and coming after me. One of our lessons he actually got a hold of my hand And bit me. 10 weeks later those are all problems of the past. We hope every had a great week / weekend worth of training. Thank you guys for keeping us busy this week alone we trained 26 dogs crazy! Leila and I have been working on finalizing our off-leash obedience package that’s set to launch May 13th. Be on the look out you don’t wanna miss out. This package will only be exclusive to returning clients of ours. The only exception we will allow it up to the public is if your dogs can preform the commands our dogs know. Private package

Our private package is broken down into 8 1-hour private sessions 1x/week. We will cover basic manners and obedience. Through this package we will address any of these common issues: • Jumping on people • Mouthing • Counter surfing • Jumping on furniture • Excessive barking • Digging • Running out your front door or side gates • Basic obedience- heel, sit, stay, down, recall and completion finish • Crate training • Potty training 3 out of the 8 lessons will be in a downtown area/open mall and we start working on proofing your dog's obedience out in public.
