We manufacture more than 500 styles and sizes; all forged here in our factory located in Anaheim, California and use the highest grade of aircraft aluminum. At Thoro’Bred, we design and manufacturer horseshoes for all racing, performance, pleasure, and corrective horseshoeing needs. Thoro’Bred holds strong as the innovative leader in quality and design. Our products are continually evolving with the input from highly respected farriers and veterinarians assisting our engineering department. These experts study the intricate movement of the horse and each step in our manufacturing process is designed for optimal equine performance in speed, comfort, and efficiency. Every level of excellence is carefully crafted into each shoe design. Thoro’Bred Inc. distributes horseshoes designed for various equestrian sports worldwide. Many of the world’s most recognizable champions have crossed the finish line first while wearing our shoes. Secretariat, Affirmed, John Henry, Cigar and the majority of Kentucky Derby winners in the past decade including recent champions like Justify, American Pharoah and California Chrome have all competed in our racing plates.

Farrier Wes Champagne used Traditional Queens Plate XT's up front and our Wide Web Side Clipped Plain Hinds on Justify in the 2018 Kentucky Derby to get the win, and American Pharoah took the Triple Crown in 2015 wearing our racing plates in all three events.
