I started trying to train our backyard dog when I was eight or ten. Without having google or youtube back then it wasn’t a quick process or online instructional videos but I got some obedience down with him. Once I was old enough to work I worked as a Veterinarian Technician caring for dogs a lot of the times in their worst moments. I assisted the Vet with exams and surgeries. From there I helped

for many years with a Police K-9 Unit before becoming a K-9 Handler myself. While being a K-9 Handler I saw the need for consistent and structured training. I ended up coordinating our training and trained dog teams in narcotics detection, apprehension and tracking. Now the above is the short version of my experience. This didn’t happen in just a couple years and only a few hours. This was over the course of 16 years and hundreds if not thousands of hours. I’ve been very fortunate to have been trained myself by the best trainers in the country. This is an opportunity that not everyone gets and for that I'm grateful.
