4/15/25 Update: Andy has been ADOPTED!

I'm sure many of you are waiting to hear about MOLLY'S MEDICAL UPDATE!! We had a surgery appointment scheduled today with an orthopedic surgeon. After further testing and evaluation, the surgeon believes it's in Molly's best interest not to receive surgery. Her fracture is healing and she is getting around pretty well on it. Her hip and knee are in alignment and she still has growth plates that are not closed up. To do the surgery needed would consist of a chisel and hammer, her leg becoming shorter, and possibly facing an incorrect way as it heals along with the muscle. Due to the extent of the surgery and the outcome, we believed it is in her best interest to continue healing on her own. She may walk with a "gimp" but its better than the outcome of the surgery especially with the pain and recovery it will put her through. Thank you to everyone who has donated on her behalf. Any funds donated to us can be refunded or will go towards helping with any future medical cost for the shelter. Andy & Molly are officially BOTH available for adoption!!!

PLEASE SHARE! Molly is in URGENT NEED of a MEDICAL RESCUE! NVC Wallisville evaluated the pups on Tuesday 3/11. The vet suspects that Molly may have a possible broken femur. It could also be dislocated or fractured, but will require imaging for proper diagnosis. She is in need of a rescue ASAP due to our shelter not being equipped for an injury of this magnitude! If you would like to help with current medical bills, you may reach out to Helping Paws in Chambers County.

URGENT RESCUE NEEDED! Pups were dumped over the weekend, picked up yesterday afternoon. They were evaluated by NVC Wallisville this morning. Molly is in need of urgent medical care. They are estimated to be 14 weeks old.

Donations can be made to Helping Paws in Chambers County or NVC Wallisville for City of Anahuac medical care.
