Officially Introducing "Eggs" from Breakfast in Bed litter, breeder Rumorhazit in Fairbanks Alaska creation. We have since renamed him Samuel after my father we lost in 2019. Nicknamed Sammy. Have had him for almost 3 days now and this pup is phenomenal. Picks up things so easily and velcro in nature. He is our newest service dog trainee and I see great things in this little guys future

Our friend Daisey is back to stay and play for a few days at our house while her Dad goes on a trip! She is such a sweet girl and we love when she comes to stay with us!

Service dog Talon Vom Fox enjoyed our vacation to NC with my family for winter break. Here are some photos from our visit. We even took her to the beach and aquarium for a few days. She was a major helper with the boys especially at the airports and traveling. 😀

Back to Alaska after our long winter break with family in NC and have been back at it with Merida service dog in training. She hasnt missed a beat!

Service dog in training Merida attended Kindergarten today and helped make snow globes! Then we headed off to Hudsons physical therapy appointment. She did great for a 7 month old pup to have such a long training day. 👏

This is not how I normally hold a leash just showing the complete lack of pressure I am giving on the leash while walking for you guys to visually see. Showing a 1 finger hold on service dog in training Merida as she holds a pretty good heel beside me. Not bad for a 6 month old puppy! Still working on her basics and task training but she is coming along so nicely. Also it is very cold here in Alaska!

Dog training near Dimond blvd in anchorage alaska.. busy road with mountains in the background, a rainbow 🌈 in the sky above, and a mama and calf moose 🫎 blocking traffic. All while both service dog pups (one in training) in a perfect wait beside me. God's country is so beautiful 😍

Introducing walking to Daisey while she wears a head halti leash. We have been working towards desensitization towards this training tool over the last several days. She is coming along fantastically! Doing this everyday for several minutes for several sessions a day will get her to going on long walks/runs with her owner in no time. I recommend head haltis as a way to help any dog that pulls. Making sure you introduce them slowly and correctly is the key to success 🙌 😊 In this video we are just asking her to walk beside me nicely not pulling while accepting the head halti on her muzzle.

At the Dome today for Hobby Festival. I had no idea our good friend made this video. You rarely get to see me cause I am always taking the pictures. But here is a video of the whole family alongside Service Dog Talon Vom Fox in a down stay watching her boys 😀

Field trip to the zoo today for my son Hudson and service dog Talon Vom Fox. The black bears at the Alaska Zoo were SUPER ACTIVE today! Never seen them like this. But we captured a funny video of them having a disagreement over who gets to lay in their bear hammock. Pretty sure the hammocks are made out of firehoses which is kind of cool. Guess they have to be bear proof! Was suprised the number or Ravens in their habitat. At one point a Raven was about two feet away and the bears did not engage it. Was happy to see the zoo gave them several enrichment toys and hid treats around the enclosures!

A well trained service dog or dog in general will respect a gate/fence if taught properly. Talon can easily clear a 6 foot fence but through proper training respects the boundary. Also just an adorable video of my little guy Hudson waving goodbye on his morning bus!
