We are a locally-owned, multi-doctor, small animal/exotic companion animal practice. Urgent care hours on most Saturdays and Sundays.

Our History:

Ravenwood Veterinary Clinic was established in 1990 by Dr. Susan Wagnon--a pillar of the sprint dog mushing community. In April of 2020, Dr. Wagnon transferred ownership of her clinic to Dr. Jamie Merrigan, one of her long-time associates. Dr. Merrigan has been with Ravenwood since 2013 and strives to keep the practice locally owned and operated, while continuing to uphold Ravenwood'

April showers bring May’s open books! Moving forward Ravenwood Veterinary Clinic will be accepting new clients on a more permanent basis. If we begin to book out too far, we will again restrict the influx of new clients so that we can continue to take exceptional care of our current patients and clients.

To make the scheduling process as smooth as possible please have your previous veterinary clinic’s name and/or phone number available. This will allow our staff to review your pets’ records before your appointment.

Day two of Rondy! Dr. Merrigan and techs Corey, Katelyn, Danielle, Taylor, Sheila, and Zoe are out on the Avenue today. They are making sure all of the sprint racing dogs are happy and healthy to race in the Open World Sled Dog Championship! Our Ravenwood crew will be out vetting today and tomorrow! Come say hi if you see us!

It’s time to Rondy! Dr. Merrigan and techs Corey and Katelyn are out on the Avenue today making sure all of the sprint racing dogs are having a safe and happy time at the Open World Sled Dog Championship! Our Ravenwood crew will be out vetting each day of the race. Come say hi if you see us!
