Should Mt.Spurr erupt, we may also experience an increase in earthquakes. Pets can be more sensitive to earthquakes and may try to run. We encourage you to make sure your pets microchip information is up to date to increase the chances of reuniting your loved one.

Should Mt.Spurr erupt, it seems our main concern will be the ash fall. We recommend owners have enough food and medications (if your pet needs them) for a few weeks to a month.
Also consider foot and eye protection/eye wash. Puppy pads may help if they are unable to go outside.
