Velo and I made it to Anchorage (from Columbus OH). The cold was a bit of a shock (for both of us) but what a sweethear! She is going to have a very happy and exciting life as a performance dog with her new owners 💕 and I am absolutely in love 🥰

After a trip to Indianapolis, that should have lasted 18 hours, but actually took 23 due to mechanical situations, late arrivals and departures, I have made it back to Anchorage with baby Kenai, a German Shepherd puppy who has come to join the family of my cousins Kane, Cat and her new owner, their daughter Adele. 💕

Unfortunately Adele crashed while waiting so I didn’t get to see the introduction but she is a going to be perfect companion to grow up together. I am truly so very happy for the family!

I was just trying to book a transport trip for mid-June, wanted to share with everyone.

If you are planning on traveling FROM Seattle with Pets in baggage hold or shipping a dog as cargo this summer? AS SEATAC will be having a pet embargo due to airport construction- ALL SUMMER! No pets in baggage hold (as cargo or traveling with a passenger) from May 16, 2024 to September 6, 2024 from 12:00 midnight to 11:00 am. It does not affect arrivals INTO SeaTac or as a stopover 4 hours of less.

That makes us think other hours are ok, however, we must not forget they have not yet placed heat embargo’s on flights.

For those traveling up to Alaska or home to Alaska for shows, this is going to be a major, but unavoidable inconvenience so plan ahead and plan accordingly.

AS agent notified me that flights already booked for those dates and times with pets in hold will be getting their pet space cancelled!

Only in Alaska … off to Kenai in a plane I cannot even stand up straight in haha (I am 5’ nothing for those who don’t know me in real life). 20 minutes from take off to landing! And we’re off, suffice to say no Wi-Fi on this flight 😂!

On board awaiting pushback. So spoilt, my fabulous “client” booked my return flight in first class 💕 (outbound was in premium). A bit cold so close to the front door I had to put my hat on to keep warm 😂

Off to Portland for a quick pick-up turn and burn, bringing back a lovely girl “Jane” to visit a new boyfriend for a bit… out at 2:30 am returning to Kenai, AK and then back home by dinner (in theory!)
