Strange to see seventeen years of decorations and memories disappear in a days work. All our beautiful quilts are being donated back to Friends of Pets for their annual quilt auction on October 15, 2022. The quilt auction benefits their spay/neuter assistance program.

At the end of a day full of emotions I am so grateful to have these amazing people in my life. What a special ending to an extraordinary journey. Peg, Lindsay, Jenni, Craig, Mackenzie, and Jordan, thank you for taking time to spend this last day with me. Your love of Dog Tired, the clients and their dogs was so heart warming. You helped build the community that is Dog Tired. While our doors may have closed the legacy lives on and we will stay in touch for years to come. To all the parents and dogs who came to this wonderful place, I love you and thank you for seventeen wonderful years.

Some of the most gratifying experiences these last few weeks are the surprising (to us, anyway) number of former clients who have made a point of reaching out to us or stopping in to visit. It's lovely to see clients and dogs from long ago. So many memories to share!

This morning Fauda and her mom Sara came by to shop our closing sale. Fauda was just a wee thing in our Puppy Power! class nearly three years ago. She's a stunning example of everything a Belgian Malinois can be when a family is fully dedicated to meeting its need for physical and intellectual challenges.

She isn't above being a little goofy either.

After seventeen years Dog Tired will close its doors on September 30, 2022. I am excited to announce my new position with The Dog Gurus as their Business Growth and Lead Coaching Guru.

Change is bittersweet and this journey has been so rewarding. I am humbled by your continued support and confidence in providing services to your furry family members. It has been my greatest pleasure to work with you these past seventeen years. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
