Got in a short workout paddle on Palmer Slough. The flies were vicious. Nice to get in some exertion

Paris and I moved in, Teruko will join us Wednesday night. 5 guests from Okinawa will be staying in the house. Grandpa and Grandma will have to suck it up and sleep in the same room. Had to remove the antlers as road vibration was causing a board to break.

Yesterday said good bye to an old friend. We had lots of great adventures over the past 10 years, but she was getting harder to handle. Went to a new owner to start a new life and new adventures. Paris did not seem to mind at all. We went on one last paddle together to make sure her new owner was compatible as she is a lot to handle. Paris stayed by the beach while the new owner and I finalized the deal……

Helped her new owner load her up and drive off.

Went back to the beach, got in Superboat, and Paris The Parson and I paddled off to Everett's Beach Party and Music Festival.

At 18’7” The Jonas Grumby Maru was getting too much for me to safely load by myself. Paris much prefers the more stable kayaks anyway. That was a hard kayak to let go of.
