Available for Adoption!! As I’m sure everyone knows this is checkers! Checkers is currently our longest resident. This sweet boy is already
Neutered, has had all his shots and is only 6 months old. Checkers is getting really sick of being here. Trust me he tells us but, we keep insuring him that his furever home is still coming!! If you are not intrested in adopting please consider fostering. Currently we are at full capacity! All of the staff here is trying everything we can do to get animal adopted or moved to rescues but just like us everyone is way to full. The happiest Monday smile from our friend, Edison.

Edison is still looking for that perfect home 🏠 No other dogs, no small children that could potentially spook him while he’s sleeping 😴, a fenced in yard and a great dog savvy home!

Edison can pass other dogs on walk and even is in a foster home with several others, however we have seen that he prefers to have all the attention in the home and he deserves that!

Edison is currently fostered in Knoxville, TN. He is available for adoption through Anderson County Animal Shelter. His adoption fee is $100, he is neutered, vaccinated and heartworm negative. Please share- your share could land him in his forever home!

The announcements are out and many spay/neuter programs across the state have received funding to help fix pets in their communities! Thanks again to all who have this "Animal Friendly" license plate that funds this grant! Ask for it when you renew (some clerks call it the spay/neuter plate).

UPDATE: These guys are with a foster!❤️🐾 They’re still available for adoption!!

Puppy alert!!! These sweet babies are available for adoption! 1) brown/black, female 8weeks has had her first round of shots. 2) white face and brown face with black ears, male 8weeks has had his first round of shots. 3) Black/brown, Male 8 weeks has had his first round of shots. Last but not least white/brown, female 8 weeks has had her first round of shots. We believe they are terrier mixes they are all super sweet and are very deserving of their furever homes!! Squishy has made a break for it!!! Let’s congratulate squishy on finding his furever home!!! The timing couldn’t have been perfect for squishy he went on a walk with one of our wonderful volunteers and as soon as he got back this wonderful family walked in the door and here squishy was ready to warm their hearts🤍🐕🐾 if you are looking for your next furbaby keep us in mind!!!

Available for Adoption!!! Meet Marge! This sweet girl has been through a lot of trouble. Marge unfortunately was hit by a car but luckily the damage wasn’t too bad. Marge is 2-3 years old, fully vaccinated and already spayed!!! This sweet girl would do best in a home by herself due to her hip and in a home without smaller children. For everyone that has shared Puddin's adventures at Anderson County Animal Shelter, she's finally found her person!

Pretty girl Puddin’ is off on her new adventure with Jason! We couldn’t be happier for this precious girl that Anderson County Animal Shelter brought to us a few weeks ago. She has been a joy at the shelter, and although she will be missed, we are thrilled to see her go to such a loving home! Thank you for adopting!! ♥️🐾

Everyone meet Dozer!!!! This sweet boy is 3-4 years old but trust me he does not let that slow him down at all! Dozer is fully vaccinated and neutered!! He does have a vet appointment to get his eyes checked Thursday. We will update when we know more. If intrested in adopting Dozer please come down to ACAS to meet this sweet boy!!!
