IMPORTANT INFO FOR 2026

So many of our favorite fur babies are making plans to visit. We can’t wait to see everyone!

With all of our families that do not have children, it is hard to understand why we are full for requested dates. Below are some very busy times coming soon!

Please remember if you have reserved a spot for these dates and cannot make it, let us know.

Jan 16-19th - long holiday

Feb 13-16th - long holiday

March- multiple counties spring break for college and high school

May 23rd until August 15th - summer break for college and school aged kids. Also July 4th holiday

Sept 4th -7th - holiday

October- multiple fall breaks for college and school age kids

November - Thanksgiving break

Dec - Christmas break

Well we had the BEST experience today with Elk River Veterinary Services. Our sweet boy has been feeling rough and Hobie Wilson has already helped him by visiting him at home. We have had several people ask who should they use for a vet when they visit The Baxter Resort For Dogs. Hands down, great people and they come to you! Win Win 🐾🐾

We are having a great time with all of our summer guests at The Baxter Resort For Dogs. Please remember when you arrive, we require a copy of up to date vaccinations. So please make sure you have those prior to arrival. Some people are having issues with a local vet service. We want everyone to have a great time on vacation and can’t wait to see the fur babies. Also we will be posting updates on our FB and IG page so make sure you follow us for those important updates. Finally, it seems a bit early to mention, but we are already booking for 2026. So please note we will be closed May 1st until May 10th 2026 for some exciting updates! Thank you all for having the best fur babies and trusting us to take care of them!!
