🤠 Wrangler 🤠
This gorgeous boy came to us back in October, when a friend of one of our volunteers called her up in the early hours of the morning. There was a skinny and scared pup hiding under her Jeep Wrangler, and her dogs were not having it. Our volunteer, armed with some warmed leftover ribs, headed over to try and get him to safety. Once he had a little trust for the caring human hands, he jumped right in her truck. It was obvious he’d had a ‘ruff’ start in life and he’s only a puppy at under 10 months old. He’s struggling with life inside shelter walls and needs a loving home sooner than later. Here’s what we know about this good boy!

🐾 Reported to be one of the easiest walkers by staff and volunteers.
🐾 Very playful once out of his kennel.
🐾 Smarty pants as he already knows the commands ‘sit’ and ‘down’.
🐾 Curious and happy meeting kitty friends.
🐾 Curious but a bit tense meeting other dogs. (He would need a slow and patient introduction, but would thrive as an only dog)

Dear Santa,
Please bring us shelter cats and dogs some volunteers to love on us this Christmas season and into the new year. While we absolutely love our human friends that care for us everyday, we would love to have more time to breathe fresh air. As for us dogs, we crave more time to feel grass under our paws and a good game of fetch. Those few minutes a day getting to sniff around go by so quickly. It makes us terribly sad to go back inside to our kennels and crates. We hear the lonely cries of our neighbors and sometimes the only comfort they have is the love of staff and volunteers. My cat friends that live in stacked crates also crave human attention. I know they love when humans interact with toys and treats with them. There are just so many of us and so few volunteers. Please Santa, help make our Christmas bright.
