Our dear friend and fierce advocate, Joslin Bronnenberg, lost her battle with mental health just over 10 months ago. She had always talked about needing a medical fund in place to help the animals in this community. Many of her 100+ fosters were medical cases and she gave her all in their after care. While we wish that Joslin was here to see that “Joslin’s Fund” is now a reality, we know she would be thrilled to know how her mom, APL, and the community have came together to bring it to fruition. All donations made to Joslin’s Fund go directly to helping with spay & neuter services, along with medical needs. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today.

Good morning friends and supporters! Today, we invite you to be part of the solution as we rise to meet a pressing need. Our shelter is currently overflowing with animals in our care, and we urgently need volunteers to help us provide the best possible environment for them.
Within just 48 hours, we welcomed 18 dogs and as many cats into our care, bringing our total dog population to over 80. As you can imagine, this creates a challenging situation for these amazing animals, and we're counting on your support to help alleviate their stress. You can make a real difference in their lives by volunteering with us. Here are some ways you can help:
- Take dogs for walks to help them relax and unwind.
- Shower our feline friends with love and affection.
- Assist with transporting animals to vet appointments and rescue operations.
- Help with essential tasks like washing food bowls, Kongs, and Nylabones.
- Lend a hand with laundry duties.
