In 2024 we saw our highest number of adoptions, but we also saw a staggering 921 pets surrendered by their owners - yikes, that’s over 70 furry faces every month! We understand that circumstances can lead to hard decisions and we are not here to judge or criticize. We want to assure you that APL is a SAFE landing for pets in need, so let’s brainstorm some paw-sitive ways to keep our 4-legged pals at home, where they belong.

Good morning friends and supporters. As we go into the new year, we find ourselves weeding out our torn and broken Kuranda Dog Beds. These help keep our dogs off of the concrete floors and on comfy beds during their stay at APL. If you find it in your heart to help us, dogs like Gentry and King, pictured below, would be so grateful for your generosity!
