Scotland's Mist Acres is a peaceful and fun-filled pet boarding facility located in an easy to find country setting only 10 minutes from downtown Anderson and I-85. Situated on 6 acres, lined with crape myrtles and with a gorgeous view of the mountains, your pet will love to play and rest at Scotland's Mist Acres. Owner Traci Kinard, Manager Fanci Gosnell and Assistant Manager Tonya are all canine

/feline CPR and first aid trained and have over 18 years experience in the pet industry and because Traci and her family live on site, your pet will have round the clock care.

To All Scotland’s Mist Amazing Clients:
I have been blessed to be able to do what I love through Scotland’s Mist Acres, LLC, for the last 25 years. Over the past year I have spent a lot of time soul searching and have decided that it is time for SMA to begin another chapter, moving in a slightly different direction.

Effective April 1, 2025, the facility will be rented by Woofington Acres, LLC. Woofington Acres will be owned and operated by Carley Collier. You all know Carley, who has been working here for years, and I have no doubt will continue the care of your four-legged family members just as all of us at SMA have always done. The only changes that will occur will be the name and ownership, the phone number and staff (other than myself) will stay the same.

All reservations and deposits made under Scotland’s Mist Acres will be honored through Woofington Acres, LLC. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! I have always considered you and your pups part of my extended family. I am honored that you shared your babies with me, and I have loved every second I have been able to spend with them.
