Hello everyone! I’m Sabrina Cantu, your 2025 CSHA Region 18 Royalty Chair. Born and raised in Northern California, I’m 26 years old and work as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the forestry and wildland firefighting industry. Horses have been a lifelong passion for me, and I have competed in gymkhana, rodeo, and currently focus on Cowboy Mounted Shooting. I’ve been involved with CSHA Region 18 since 2004 and have participated in TRAP, Gymkhana, and the Royalty program. I proudly held the title of CSHA Region 18 Little Miss for three years and was also the State Little Miss. The royalty program has profoundly shaped my journey as a competitor, helping me achieve titles such as District 1 High School Rodeo, Miss Cottonwood Rodeo, and Miss Redding Rodeo Queen. This program emphasizes essential skills like public speaking, interviews, etiquette, and horsemanship—tools that empower young adults to thrive in society. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities this program has provided, allowing me to become a public speaker and advocate for the forestry industry and women in a male-dominated field.
