This little girl made it through her surgery yesterday and is recovering as best she can. She was diagnosed at five weeks of age with a liver shunt. She was born with this condition and showed signs early on. This condition can be corrected with surgery, but unfortunately the liver shunt that she has is located on the inside of her liver, making it very hard for the vet to clamp off and give her the recovery we had all prayed for. For now she will stay on the meds that are keeping her stable, & her special diet for another month, so she can grow more. The hope is that our amazing vet will then be able to clearly see the shunt to clamp it safely. The surgery will be very risky. So for now, we will love on her, & kiss her, & give her the best life we can! We have been calling her Dolly, because I want her to have as normal of a life as she can, even if it is short lived. Once she is feeling better I will be taking her on trips ( in her wagon ) to the park, and on some adventures so she can live her very best, & full life.
To those who have wondered, no, this is not something that I have ever had happen in my kennel. Our dogs are healthy, strong dogs all in all. No matter the kennel, these birth defects can happen from time to time. We do all of the genetic testing possible, but there are still things that can happen. Breeding is not for the faint of heart, & you will lose pups, & it will be heartbreaking every time. You hold each one dear to your heart, & they are never forgotten. You fight as hard as you can, & rest assured I’ve never lost a pup that I didn’t pour everything I had into to save.
Please keep Dolly in your prayers as she fights! She is a strong puppy, & just as lovable as they come.
My hope is that Lord willing, she will come through the next surgery well, recover completely & I can find an amazing home for this sweet girl. This would obviously need to be a very special home.

This sweet girl met her forever family a few days ago!! She is such a loving pup, & had ALL the tail wags and kisses to give them for that first time. We are so happy for her and her new family, & wish them all the best memories & happy years together!! Congratulations to the Crawford family, & welcome to our lab family!!♥️♥️🐾🐾♥️♥️

Our sweet Owen is LOVING his new home & family!!
I interviewed various families, but in the end I went with the one that I felt would best be suited for our boy. He has a sister named Luna, & free rein of his new home complete with swimming pool, & lots of his fave soft toys to carry around! Most of all they are loving people with hearts of gold, & lots of love to give!
His new family reports that he settled in quickly, & is enjoying his new home & sister. We couldn’t be happier for our boy! Congratulations to the Graziano family, & welcome to our lab family!!

So happy to share that Charlie will be kept in the family with my son and daughter in law, & living in NC!! He will enjoy traveling since they do that alot in their RV, & hanging out with his new brother Cooper, also from Anderson Labradors! Excited that we will still see him often, & that he will still be available for stud to us if needed. Congratulations to the Anderson family!!♥️♥️

This gorgeous chunk went home today after meeting his precious mom, dad, & big brother!!
Indigo, now Kodi ( short for Kodiak ) instantly knew this was his new mommy, & went right up to her! I couldn’t have asked for a better family for this boy!! We just love these two new members of our Labrador family! Congratulations to the Edward’s family and welcome to our lab family!!♥️♥️

Update: Owen has found his family!!!

I will not rush this, and will find the best one for him, because he definitely deserves it:)

Owen is out of Ella + Ivan’s litter, & was a potential stud. He is well behaved, walks well on lead, potty trained, earned his CGC ( but his brother chewed up their paperwork before we sent it off ), has very good manners, & is one of our most gentle and sweet dogs. He loves soft things, & stuffed animals like his father, & enjoys cuddling on the couch and showing affection to his people. This dog loves people a lot.

Update on Thor:
Thor is loving his new family and life!!! He is happy, & getting all the cuddles & love he can get! He has discovered a golf cart ride, & fully enjoys it, and is thriving in his new home. His new mommy says the family is crazy about him and they love him so much!!
We couldn’t be happier for our big lovable guy!♥️♥️

Look at this beautiful couple!!
This family has been part of our family for the least four years! They have not one Anderson Lab pup, but two! One of them in particular has always been very close to our heart. They have loved our pups just like we would love them, & look at how beautiful they both are in Grace’s wedding!!

Just met the sweetest family with the sweetest little boy! We are so happy they are Aloe’s new forever family!! As I watched Aloe follow his new two year old best friend around the yard, I knew this was the family he was meant for. It was absolutely adorable!

After a lot of thought, prayer, & many talks we have decided to place Owen. He is the absolute sweetest dog you will ever meet, & has great indoor manors. His fave thing is stuffed animals and soft blankets. He is potty trained & walks well on lead. Four years old.
He will come with a neuter contract & is pet only. Looking for the perfect family for him.

This little girl gave us a very big scare today. She has been diagnosed with a liver shunt. Her symptoms will be managed with meds for now, but she will eventually need a surgery to repair the liver.

Cleaning around here is like..

Miss Belle was using the potty a little more than usual, so she took a ride to the vet today. She is doing fine & just has a bacterial infection, which will clear up quickly with her antibiotic. She prefers to travel( on this bumpy road )while receiving a nice massage & slept the whole way!😉😂🥰

Breakfast time! These precious pups are growing & doing great, & mom is the beautiful, loving mother she has always been. This litter means a little more knowing it’s Ella’s last💗❤️
