Rosie starts her new school next week! 🎒🍎
As we transition her into this new routine, I appreciate your patience and understanding. There may be times when your appointment runs a little later than usual because of school pick-up, or I may ask you to come in 30 minutes later so I can work around her schedule.

🐾✨ Miss Marleigh’s Spa Treatment ✨🐾

Today Miss Marleigh, our sweet senior Bichon, came in for some extra TLC to support her sensitive skin. Here’s how we cared for her:

1. Step One: Gentle Start 💧
We began with Les Poochs Hypoallergenic Conditioner to soothe and protect her skin.

2. Step Two: Deep Cleanse 🧼
Next, she was bathed with Les Poochs MedAcetic Shampoo, known for its gentle yet effective cleansing power.

3. Step Three: Targeted Therapy 🌿
Following that, we applied her vet-prescribed chlorhexidine & miconazole shampoo to treat her specific skin concerns. While this sat and worked its magic, she was wrapped in a warm chamois—keeping her cozy and helping open her pores so the treatment could pe*****te more effectively.

4. Step Four: The Finishing Touch 🐶💛
We closed her session with another application of Les Poochs Hypoallergenic Conditioner, leaving her coat soft, her skin nourished, and her spirits lifted.

✨ Why I Require 48 Hours’ Notice ✨

As a one-on-one groomer, I’m hands-on with your dogs all day. I don’t see texts or cancellations until after I’ve finished grooming in the evening.

When a cancellation comes in the day before, it leaves me scrambling late at night to try to fill the spot for the next morning. Instead of spending that time with my family, I’m forced to send last-minute messages—which isn’t fair to me or very professional.

My schedule also runs on a 6-week rotating system. Your appointment isn’t just a one-time slot—it’s part of a rotation that keeps your dog on track. Canceling the day before doesn’t just leave a hole in my calendar; it forces me to find a last-minute one-time client to fill a repeating spot, which throws off the balance of my entire book.

With 48 hours’ notice, I have the time to:

Offer your spot to someone on my waitlist during the day (not after hours).

Reach out to current clients within business hours to see if they’d like to swap appointments—preventing me from having to overbook my system with new, one-time clients.

Keep my rotation balanced and fair for everyone.

Maintain the consistency that benefits both your dog and my business.

Over the next couple of weeks, things may feel a little wavy as Rosie and I transition into a new school schedule. She’s beginning her shift into special education so she can receive the therapies she needs, which means my own schedule will be a little hectic.

Using the online booking tool not only helps me stay organized — it also ensures you’re pre-booked and not waiting on me to reach out. With the system, you can see what’s available in real time and lock in your appointment before things fill up.

Hey y’all, Laurel here with LollyPups Grooming! 💛

Just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up over the next several weeks, I’ll be helping my youngest daughter, Rosalie, get settled into preschool. She’s 4 years old and has autism, so this is a big transition for her (and for us as a family).

Because of that, there may be days where I have to text last minute to let you know I’m running about 30–40 minutes behind, or that your pup’s groom might take a little longer than usual. I may also need to briefly step out to drop her off or pick her up if she’s having a hard time adjusting.

I’ll do everything I can to avoid rescheduling but if, worst-case scenario, I do need to move your appointment, I promise to communicate as quickly and clearly as possible.

Thank you so much for understanding your support means the world, and I truly appreciate your kindness while we help Rosalie take this big step!
