Hiring a Pet Sitter Is A Serious Process

Step 1: Call the pet sitters, or if possible, visit their websites to review their rates, services, and service areas, and make sure they can provide the type of service you need.

Step 2: Develop a set of questions and conduct a thorough interview.

Step 3: Ask for references. Develop a set of questions to ask when checking references.

Step 4: Insure that the potential sitter has bonding and liability insurance coverage.

Step 5: Have the pet sitter meet you in your home and make sure he/she interacts well with your pet. Pet sitters will collect information from you regarding your pet's care, and should have a contract outlining the scope of service as well as policies and procedures.

It's important to know that services and fees can vary widely from pet sitter to pet sitter. Professional pet sitters are happy to answer your questions - they want you to feel at ease with their services.

Just a friendly reminder FurryFriends4Life LLC will be closed February 26th-March 4th, with walks/house visits and daycare operating on March 5th. Due to being out of the country, we will have no access to phone,email, or Timetopet. We may possibly have very limited access to Facebook on wifi.

We are glad to help with any reservation entries before we leave. Thanks for your understanding and choosing us for your petcare needs 🥰🐕

If your dog or cat has a microchip number that starts with 991 or 900164 then it could be a Save This Life microchip. Save This Life suddenly closed their doors and your pet may not be protected. Enroll any pet's microchip with another registry ASAP if your pet has a SAVE THIS LIFE microchip.
Chip registries we recommend: AKC REUNITE or HOME AGAIN.

Timetopet has finished applying all credits to accounts for missed assignments due to the snow at the beginning of the week. Such credits can be used for any service.

As for today, we have a SLOW start due to the inclement weather; but all assignments will be completed accordingly with minor delays on timings.

With snow expected Sunday, if any modifications need to be made for safety PLEASE reach out. We'll make it happen!

Transportation drop offs/pickups are CANCELED.

For outside house visits, we highly encourage boarding if petcare is needed. We have NO control if the roads get closed or we get snowed in due to our long driveway.

We are in deed booked solid with Saturday groomings; so unfortunately if a Sunday grooming was scheduled; I will work with Timetopet to ensure they credit your account.

For any customers whom changed their pickup due to inclement weather for safety; Timetopet has been working with us to credit accounts.

Unfortunately, groomings are scheduled for the date the pups go home; so therefore many were missed due to having scheduled groomings on 1/5/2025.

We love giving many payment options for customers. With all the new Venmo/Zelle laws; if such payments work best we will continue to accept. PLEASE do not write dog services, Dog walks or etc.

I promise all dog services are input into Timetopet for both our records, and we do not want to be duplicatively taxed. Please just notate as money owed. We truly value your business & thanks for your help & understanding.
