Spud is one of our quirkiest characters on the farm. He loves taking leisurely walks and serenading the farm with his vocal morning calls. You might say he’s our farm rooster! He will let you know if he needs something…and not quietly.
Spud is always involved with our Touch Therapy programs for seniors with dementia. His small size and comforting presence make everyone feel at home, and his quirky antics keep everyone laughing! He gets lots of requests from kids eager to spend time with him during their lessons - an honor no other animal on the farm has!

Born at our farm in 2018, Rose is our pony Columbia's pride and joy. A true mama's girl, she's full of playful energy in the paddocks, but at work, she's all about the calm and quiet.
Rose thrives on mentally stimulating tasks, making her perfect for therapeutic assisted riding lessons. With a love for a nice slow walk, she's already showing promise in therapy sessions. We know someday she’ll be an amazing and gentle therapy horse with a likely focus on emotional support.

As one of the newer girls at Ironstone Farm, Minnie gets her name for resembling a “mini Jessica” with the same golden coat and platinum mane. Currently focusing on independent riders and At Liberty activities, Minnie aims to become a full-fledged therapy pony! Her affinity for young kids makes her ideal for early intervention clients in our hippotherapy program and offers our instructors easier support with unbalanced riders.
