It was a cold winter day and all of the dogs were winding down for a nice afternoon nap. Cosmo (a very large Bernidoodle) came over to me to get a little love and snuggles before he found a spot to sprawl out on the floor. He always loves to sit on our feet and, since it was a cold day, I was more than appreciative of his fluffy butt warming up my feet. Little did I know I was about to get more than I bargained for! 🐶🤪

As he sat on my feet and I bent over to give him a big hug and some good pets he apparently was feeling pretty comfortable. All of a sudden I felt a strange rumbling vibration on my foot followed by a puff of warm air. It took a second but I then realized that Cosmo had FARTED ON MY FOOT!!! He looked up at me completely unapologetic as if to be proud of his actions. A day I will never forget and I do still love the big goof! 🤍💨

Happy Friday!! Congratulations to our January dog of the month, Poppy! Poppy has been coming to daycare at Muddy Paws since she was just a little puppy, and during her time here, she has made SOO many friends! Poppy is always happy to play with anyone, and wants to be friends with any new dog that comes in! Poppy’s favorite thing to do is get her paws all muddy, and help her friends dig the best hole possible before a staff member catches them🤣 Congratulations again, Poppy! 🐾🎉🥳

Happy Monday! Chloe and Coty wanted to tell you about the history of the Bernese Mountain Dog! Did you know that the Bernese worked as drovers and watchdogs in the farmyards, mainly in Berne, Switzerland. That is where they got their name! 🐾❄️

It is time for our 2nd annual Muddy Paws Gift Exchange! Come on in and fill out a questionnaire for your pup and we will hang it on the Christmas tree in the lobby! Then, you can pick out another questionnaire from a different pup and go shopping for them!

All questionnaires must be filled out and received by Muddy Paws staff by Friday, December 13th to participate!
All gifts must by returned by Friday, December 20th so everyone is able to get their gifts!

Congratulations to our December dog of the month, Franny! Franny’s favorite thing to do at daycare is play with all the puppies, she loves that they are the perfect playing size for her! Franny also LOVES to play outside, no matter the temperature🥶! Franny always makes sure to remind our staff when it is breakfast time, it is the most important meal of the day after all🦴
