Thank you for such a great weekend everyone.
I love watching new dogs, seasoned dogs, young and old dogs, dogs that jump huge and dogs that flop off the dock.
We always have a small, tight knit group at Hop River and it’s so important to me that it stays that way.
Everyone was so lovely all weekend.
I wanted to thank Erica Koller again for taking photos of the dogs. The memories are priceless, and I will let you all know here when they’re ready to view.
We had some AMAZING jumpers this weekend.
I wanted to congratulate Jackie Tew and Dexter on the biggest jump of the weekend at 29.08.
Jackie, the hard work you’ve put into Dexter shows. Awesome job.
We also had a really AMAZING 10 month old newcomer, Kenai. He hit over 23 feet at his first ever event; Chad Neidigh you have such a special boy and it was such a pleasure meeting you.
Thank you Steve Bimbo for a wonderful job judging, and being fair and fun as always.
I worked this weekend so I got to spend a lot of my time watching all of your dogs, and I wish I could name every single one of them and all of the things I loved watching each team do.
My most handsome award goes to Rebel, and Snitch was such a beautiful golden.
I have a soft spot for Pearl, as she was the only other 12 year old pup aside from Nemo.
I loved getting to meet Padrick and Shelby, two rescue border collies new to the sport, as well as watching Jayne discover and fall in love with the sport with her dog Lady.
Seeing Herbie Johnson and his parents are some of my favorite parts of dock season; seriously, you two are such truly wonderful humans.
Karma and Jersey, Nash and Maz, Trooper and Rowyn-thank you guys for always making the trip out to support.
I could name every dog that came but this post would be a whole year long, so to wrap up my gigantic speech:
Thank you all for making it such a fun event and being such great people.
And thank you Scott Beebe and Katherine Boggs for allowing me to run these events.
