Since I was a young child I knew my future was with animals, i just wasn't sure which path to follow in the beginning. I studied at the University of Wisconsin River Falls in Field Biology and Psychology hoping to pursue a career working in a Zoo setting, I even had my internship at the Minnesota Zoo in Behavior Management! Throughout my college career I found that what I truly loved, and understo
od, about animals was their behavior. What motivates them, how they function and think and learn and then how we as people perceive these behaviors. After graduating I applied to hundreds of zoos with no response (this is a very hard field to get into). Here I fell in love with the simplicity and intricacies of dogs. I started to figure out my calling. In 2010 I also started working at the Wildlife Science Center, and through my amazing boss and coworkers I gained a much greater respect and knowledge not only about dogs but wolves, bears, cougars etc. It was when I started my career with Minnesota Veterinary Hospital that I finally found my true calling, working with domestic cats and dogs-pets. I absolutely adore the responsibility and privilege of being able to care for people's fur babies. My goal is to always make your pet feel the way my pet feels, loved. I understand how much we all care for our pets, and I hope that when I watch your pets that you feel comfortable that your pet is receiving the best care possible.
