Happy Halloween!!! The weather is not screaming; it’s the end of October, but we will take it while it lasts.

Dr. Mike will see appointments every day next week except Tuesday, which is Dr. Alicia’s day. Dr. Jones will be on vacation until the end of November.

The holidays are quickly approaching. Please ensure your pets are stocked on their prescription diets, supplements, and medications. Shipping is usually a nightmare once we hit November.

If you haven’t submitted your photos for our “Howl-O-Ween” costume contest, please get those in. You can email your pictures to [email protected], post them on our page under the contest post, or drop them off in person. The deadline is November 8th. The winner will be announced on Monday, November 11th.

The hours for the week of November 4th are as follows:

Monday, November 4th- 9 am to 5 pm
Tuesday, November 5th- 9 am to 5 pm
Wednesday, November 6th- 8:00 am to Noon
Thursday, November 7th- 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Friday, November 8th- 8:30 am to 3 pm

It’s time for Dr. Mike’s bad dad joke of the week.

Why do gorillas have big nostrils? Because they have big fingers.

Have a great weekend!

Hope you have a fur-tastic Halloween with tricks and treats! 🎃 👻

Monday is upon us again already. Where did the weekend go? Mine was super busy. The weather was beautiful. I hope you all were able to get out and enjoy it.

I don’t have much to update you on this week. Last week was a little better for Dr. Mike now that his chemo is done for this cycle. He is still suffering from daily headaches, but they are not as bad as they are when he is on the chemo. Dr. Mike will be out of the office until Thursday as he will be at CE. Dr. Jones and Dr. Alicia will be here covering for him.

I will be leaving for Bermuda at the end of the week to spread my sister-in-law's ashes. There will not be a newsletter next week, so I am enclosing next week’s hours in this email. I will have limited internet access while I am gone. Please have all online orders in no later than Thursday the 17th by 3 p.m.

As a reminder, this week is Vet Tech Appreciation Week. Our office will be CLOSED every day from 12 pm to 1 pm so that we can celebrate this special week with our technicians and assistants. They give it 100% daily and deserve recognition and to be rewarded for their hard work, compassion, and dedication to our hospital, clients, and patients.

The hours for the week of October 14th are as follows:

Monday, October 14th- 9 am to 5 pm
Tuesday, October 15th- 9 am to 5 pm
Wednesday, October 16th- 7:00 am to Noon
Thursday, October 17th- 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
Friday, October 18th- 8:30 am to 3 pm

The hours for the week of October 21st are as follows:

Monday, October 21st- 9 am to 5 pm
Tuesday, October 22nd- 9 am to 5 pm
Wednesday, October 23rd- 7 am to Noon
Thursday, October 24th- 8:30 am to 4 pm
Friday, October 25th- 7:30 am to 1:30 pm

It’s time for Dr. Mike’s bad dad joke of the week.

“What do you call a French man wearing sandals? Philipe Fallop”

Have a great week!

Stephanie
